It can actually be a bad thing : https://www.fastcompany.com...
Are older PS3 models worse in any way, regarding PS1 emulation ? I do know about PS2 emulation being only available on earlier PS3 models, but I do not know of any issues around PS1 emulation on later models.
Wasn't Steel Battalion even more ahead of its time ?
Interesting take
Things like Microsoft buying studios and cancelling already planned PS5 releases.
Excited for Baby Steps
Better than Microsoft's policy : at least other machines owners will eventually be able to play the game.
How about a unlocked framerate mode for VRR display users ?

"We are console gamers, our whole history up to this point has basically been at 30 fps, all your favourite old game were 30 fps and now all of sudden these games are unplayable lol"
Our whole history up to this point FROM THE PS3 ERA. Many PS2 games were targeting 60 fps, like MGS2 and God of War. It's the PS360 generation that brought upon us terrible performances.
"60 fps was possible with all the cross gen game...
I'm already playing the DS version. I'm not sure the remake is worth it. Maybe if they make all the buying/equiping faster for all the robots ; it really is a chore in the original / DS version.
I'm not sure Arkane really knows or cares much about consoles anyway.
Many russians support the war.
What's crazy is that, if the issue was already present in a previous port, how come anybody figured to fix this before release ? Incompetence in this day and age knows no bound.
Agree. Videogames are so much more than games. Plenty of so-called video "games" have little to do with actual games and the sense of fun they convey. Plenty of video "games" are not fun at all and don't try to be. It's a disservice to call them "games".
I'd like it if they released it on consoles. Last attempt (Global Offensive) was botched.
Sounds like legit Ubisoft to me.
So many games are way more "unplayable" than Chrono Cross, which at least had a rerelease as a PS1 Classic on PS3.
Very cool game. Wii version was great. Good news more gamers will be able to enjoy it.
Better than never, I guess. I just hope for PC gamers that the split-screen is wider than on consoles.
Also best way not to have a 60 fps mode, alas.
