It was obvious from day 1 that "America's Army" was pure propaganda. A game that is developed, maintained and distributed by the army... for free? Doesn't get more obvious than that really.
My guess would be that they offer both free accounts and "premium" accounts, where you still have to pay for some special privileges.
Good news for casual gamers, no news for hardcore gamers.
Basing this on their 10-days free trials schemes, which work wonderfully at hooking players.
Of course he does, his irrational hate for games can only be explained by him being tea-bagged once too much in some online game.
It is sad, but as much as I loved Baldur's Gate, I have to agree with them that the series was pretty much closed with Throne of Bhaal. I'm certain Bioware could pull off a great spin-off if they do get the license, but they have also proven that they can do great new IPs, so perhaps it's for the better.
If Dragon Age: Origins does indeed turn out to be a worthy spiritual successor, I'm fine with that.
Yeah, "STFU and accept it" has done wonders for humanity...
Personally waiting for Wii Fit Doubleplus.
Nintendo sure knows their newspeak.
Believe he is referring to the fact that her name is Sunny, not Sonny (Sony association maybe?).

"Us Europeans" includes me, and last I checked (just now) eurogamer.net is UK based, so what do the Americans have to do with this? I guess that makes your comment equally ignorant, but let's just say we're all excused since this is the internet after all.

I'm actually genuinely wondering, nothing against your site, merely found it curious that so many sites recently (re-)emerged. Both Eurogamer Germany and Italy hadn't submitted anyt...
I called it! http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-...
Well, close enough anyway.
But seriously, why are all these Eurogamer sites suddenly springing up? I don't recall ever seeing any but Eurogamer and Eurogamer Portugal prior to Infamous reviews.
Personally waiting for the Eurogamer Vatican City review, I hear the pope plays a lot of video games in his leisure time.
It is a bit silly yeah, but then IGN does the same. More reviews = more hits = more money. I guess.
Looks great, Deadpool was awesome in the first game.
I wouldn't dare to pretend that it wouldn't be awesome, Nintendo's Mario department and Blizzard are both the stuff of legends. But it would still be somewhat silly.
Yes, things can be both silly and awesome at the same time.
Think maybe you missread the title (I did, before reading the story) as Blizzard saying that Nintendo are the most successful developers, but it's actually about profits. Blizzard > Nintendo basically.
Here I was thinking they were ready to announce World of Mariocraft for the Wii...
The title is a bit oxymoron-ish, isn't it?
Lost planet 2 going multi-platform seems rather inevitable anyway. Capcom saying "All major titles launched during the next fiscal year or thereafter will be developed as multiplatform games." seems like a good enough reasons to me.
An ostrich hammer is exactly what it sounds like; an ostrich (the animal) used as a hammer.
Was announced as an april fools' joke, but then they actually kept it as an unlockable in multiplayer.

Ulterior motives to "serving justice", quite possibly involving large amounts of money, would be a fair guess.
People are generally too complacent to care about things that does not (seemingly) directly affect them.

Then they came for the communists

Then they came for the trade unionists

Multi platform game and no comparison screenshots/videos, so completely uninteresting to your average N4G'er.
Cynicism aside, this game has real potential for a quick hack and slash fix, especially in local coop. The first one was great, so I'm excited for this, and really hope they can pull off the console versions properly.
You know what makes this whole thing (people reporting this as fake and whatnot) even sadder? That these videos are actually more gaming news than most of the fanboy flame bait blogs that pass for news on this site.
Somewhere, Gabe Newell is snickering proudly of his deed. Perhaps.
Whoever did this kind of blew it though, he could have gone much more subtly about it and actually (un)achieve something.
