Its not jumping the gun at all. if you have a console with certain attributes, you take advantage of them.
if wiiu has superior graphical capabilities to ps3/360, devs should take advantage of them!
if anything pisses off ps3 users, its the fact that lazy devs dont put in the extra work to bring out its power beyond what 360 can produce. so wiiu fans wont be satisfied if devs go the same route and only give us ports of ps3/360 games.

Yeah, f-zero has always been a great franchise, but its still a niche title (futuristic racer.) sony could easily answer f zero with wipeout. ie the f zero experience isnt totally unique. sonys answer to mario kart is mod racers (or crash bandicoot racing lol) But what is nintendos answer to gran tourismo?
