more like a 'magic eye' image where you have to unfocus your eyes to see a hologram.
it just doesn't sound very good to me, and has only a small number of games worth getting.
i think nintendo is just making excuses now, because a lot of the time, the 3d is just an unnecessary feature, not having 3d wouldn't take anything away from the game- ie street fighter. So i dont see how devs could be struggling for ideas... just add 3d!

if they are worried about sony copying, its too late, sony have already incorporated a pseudo wiiu into ps3+vita, after seeing wiiu at e3.
when the curtains finally come up on wiiu again, there had better be something impressive.
not a viable alternative to wiiu because-
1- the extremely high cost of said 'controller.' Dual shock is £30. vita is what? £200 at least. Only a total twat/douche would see that as a serious replacement controller.
2- limited compatibility. not all ps3 games will take full advantage of the connectivity between ps3 and vita. unlike wiiu, whos games are ALL designed with the interface between console and wiiu controller. so vita+ps3 = redunda...

lol pc gaming is even worse, the tech moves incredibly fast, if you want to be cutting edge you would have to spend hudreds/thousands constantly updating your 'rig.' no thanks, thats my worse nightmare.
i think consoles try to address all the 'problems' with pc gaming, but even consoles are flawed. and more and more consoles are inheriting all the problems pc games have- bugs, fixes for those bugs, downloadable content etc.

its all a con. You buy your console and its cutting edge, then within a few years its ancient and worthless. its a really bad investment.
Games just dont age well either. they become transparent. i mean, when the game is brand new and current, the technology behind it tricks you, you enjoy it. but when you go back to old games, you can see how easily they were made, and see that they were almost just experiments with technology.

sad thing is, i have seen people who ALREADY own the re-design ps3 say they will buy ANOTHER 'slim' if it is released... complete losers if you ask me.
