This game has been totally redesigned. There are some homages paid to the N64 version that fans will spot, but generally this game is completely new. this games design has a more 'epic' feel, everything is on a grander scale. The levels are a lot bigger and are more realistic in this version and give the player a better sense of place. So far so good.
it is more detailed and cinematic, there is more character development so ultimately it is a better and more absorbing...
Ive done it now.. Had to redo the entire level :l fucking nuisance.
I also had a genius thought.. Instead of releasing the limited edition with a gold classic controller, why didn't they release a gold N64 controller that would be compatible with the wii? :D That would have been really special. Oh well.
ps. I heard that whilst the limited edition was available on time at launch, apparently in europe the game by itself was delyed. This really strikes me as...

Right at the end of the game there is a quick time event where you have to use your PPK, so if you enter that part of the game with no ammo, the game gives you ammo but you reload during the quick time event and the task becomes impossible.
This is SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT in my opinion and should never have happened. IF you need bullets to end the game and the game is polite enough to magically put bullets in the gun that weren't there in the fi...

This is pathetic.
I haven't been paying much attention to this game, it doesn't really interest me. But i can't go on any gaming website without being bombarded with news about it, so naturally i am a bit curious about it.
But my general impression is that it is mostly hype. I don't get the impression that there is anything special about it, merely a game hot off the conveyor-belt of a massive money hungry developer.
A game like that should never be critically...

Little kings Story- Got really ridiculous half way through the game.
Smash Bros Brawl- Way too much to achieve and no motivation to do so.
NBA Jam- Same as above, too much to achieve but not worth the effort.
Okami- I will get around to it... One day.
Monster Hunter Tri- I would need to give up my life to get anywhere in this game.
I will still play all of the above games, but i am not filled with the desire ...

The thing that makes me fall off my chair with laughter is how most of the ps3/360 fans bang on about the wii's life being over and how motion gaming has finally been accepted as a fad. Hmm the perfect time for move and kinect to be released then. To a market which has already been totally owned by Nintendo to the point where almost every family in the developed world has a wii.
