Its getting really mediocre reviews in general.. Im seeing lots of 6/10's.
8/10 is good... But not on a console that has similar and superior platforming experiences to this one.
I mean, how can this game compete with Mario Galaxy 1&2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Metroid Other M, Epic Kirby even Sonic Colours! Muramasa, Super Paper Mario etc etc etc... It can't. This game is out of its depths, i would rather play those ...

i think its sad that people ignore all the actual news articles and reviews of great wii games, but when these hd screenshot articles come out, everybody flocks to see in droves.
i don't even see these as wii games, because they aren't even playing on wii hardware. It doesn't represent the software as it will be played on the hardware it was designed for, so i dont see the point in it.

people keep on going on about the hi def graphics (or the lack of them,) but to me, lack of hi def is only a 'problem' once you have experienced hi def and then gone back to sd.
I mean, in the dreamcast days, all the games looked amazing and people agreed. but now there is that next level, everybody thinks sd is rubbish. obviously hd would be nice, but trashing a game just because its sd is fools logic.

That swimming section was hardcore. You even so much as scrape a pixel of those electric sea-weeds and you get fried.

If people have been following this game then i think this game will do well, because the popular opinion is that it is a return to form for sonic. Hopefully the sales will reflect that.
Im waiting for it to be delivered, a bit pessimistic to be honest.. But who wouldn't be after a decade of poor sonic games :l
Not only is it 'okay to kill cubans,' but in the context of the game, its fun, entertaining... People paid so they could kill cubans. In the real world people would have to pay you to do it.
I have never really understood why people are fascinated with these war games, war is the most dreadful thing, and these games reduce it to a form of entertainment.

this game wont stand the test of time, with hindsight people will say 'what the hell were we thinking to add acclaim to this game.. it kind of sucks.'
The game offers no unique experience, its basically a repetitive hack and slash tarted up with 'witty' humour and geeky jargon to make it seem cool. When in fact its just an ugly game with little substance.
its fun whilst it lasts, and i have completed both games on the wii, but it IS over rated. Its just a 'cool' game from an equally over rated producer.
If you think its not over rated then that must mean you have played it. If that is the case then why are you buying it again? Come on, its not that good.
Its in the same genre as those games i mentioned, if a gamer wanted a game in that ganre, why would they pick mediocre mickey, over those other brilliant and critically acclaimed games? They would have to be stupid.
Its the same as a person going out to buy a fps, why would they buy red steel, when there are other superior games in that genre? metroid prime, goldeneye etc.
