Agreed. With the deals this holiday, it'd be foolish not to upgrade to a PS4 or Xbox One. With that said, they should have cancelled the last gen version altogether. Gives more of an incentive to upgrade.

I honestly loved Halo 4's multiplayer, still more so than every other shooter on the market BUT, it wasn't really Halo because of the imbalance from the start of the match. Halo was never designed to be a class based shooter from a gameplay standpoint in competitive multiplayer.
Reach felt similar as well but not as much since the only imbalance was starting AA's rather than everyone having a different weapon and grenade at start.

Halo 3 also had support for 3 years and was marketed more than 4. Halo 4 was a departure for the series and only received support for a little more than a year since replayability was hindered.
If Halo 5 is going to be supported more than any Halo to date as 343 claims then I think it could be closer to Halo 3. I'm also talking first day and first week figures just to clarify.
Still curious on how Halo 5 will do sales wise compared to Halo 3 since both launched into a similar install base with Xbox One tracking a bit higher.
Yeah still quite a few bugs to iron out. I love the layout much more but since it's still in beta it has it's hiccups.

I still believe that Xbox One should have launched in Q4 of 2014 but obviously didn't want to give PS4 a year head start.
Crazy how much it has evolved since 2013. Going from the Titanfall hype to almost Halo 5's launch has felt like 2 different consoles.
I really like the direction Xbox is heading in and glad the PS4 played a big part in shaping that direction.
Next generation should be interesting.
