I really don't think they're doing a new KOTOR and Mass Effect (OG trilogy) was superior to KOTOR anyway imo. So handing ME off to the C team is still unjustified. It's like Naughty Dog handing the TLOU IP to a bunch of interns.
Yeah it just depends on your playstyle. Nameless King was a joke to me but not to so many others. I personally thought Champion Gundyr was pretty challenging at least compared to say, Lothric or Dancer.
The most proud I've been of myself in Dark Souls was killing Friede and her father solo without taking a hit until the third phase which was only 2 hits to me.
If you can beat Champion Gundyr and Aldrich without taking damage, that's absolutely insane.

Yeah I think that if gaming is truly a hobby and passion of yours, then you should support the developers who worked their asses off to make art.
We live in a time where there are games to suit any kind of budget between indies and AAA. If you can afford a PC or console to run games like this, you can afford the games.
No keep them seperate. MK vs DC was the worst MK game imo. MK9 blew that game out of the water and everyone forgot about it. No fatalities and a gimped MK roster for superheroes/villains that I personally have 0 interest in is dumb

Why waste all that money on R&D for Scorpio if they're going mobile. Sure, currently it is a very low point for Xbox, but they wouldn't invest in a brand new box if they were going for short term profits like you get from F2P games.
