It will since it's just the 360 version with everything intact. So basically you get every Gears of War experience for $40.
You could argue that there are more gamers now than 10+ years ago. But, I for one don't see really any console in the foreseeable future pass the PS2 or even match its sales. Like you said Xbox is a much bigger brand than it was in 2001-2005 and the PC market is a lot easier to get into now versus then. Only time will tell I guess but it's quite obvious PS4 will exceed PS3 sales which is a good thing.
Hope you have a lot of fun. Welcome to the Xbox Family :)

Also would like MS to do something with Jet Force Gemini since they own it now.
Always forget how many IP's were on the original Xbox and it's insane how the majority of them never saw sequels.
Us Xbox gamers could say the exact same thing with Bungie.
Fallout ≠ Serious
Halo 5 and Doom are the only first person shooters worth any of my time to be honest.
I'm going to stand by The Witcher 3 as that became like my second favorite game of all time and I really was losing faith this gen with new games and CDPR's practices only help raise the bar for me. Fallout 4 will probably be really close to so we'll see.
I don't know I think as long as it doesn't hinder the narrative being told then I really don't have an issue. I'm all for people doing whatever they want with their lives so none of this bothers me. Mass Effect did the whole thing perfectly.
For the 5 years anticipating Fallout 4 not once did I think about what the visuals would be like. All I knew is that it would look better than vanilla Skyrim but even then it's not Fallout's style to push the boundaries in the visual department. If Fallout 4 had photo realistic graphics it wouldn't even be Fallout to me, it's the art syle and atmosphere that puts it above all else in my opinion and I'm glad Fallout 4 is continuing that.
Triss has been my babe since Witcher 2. Sorry Yen my heart is for Triss.
I think it's worth it. Uncharted is without a doubt one of the best new IP's from last gen. Everyone needs to experience Uncharted 2. That game should be in a museum right next to TLOU.
I couldn't get into Inquisition due to the majority of the quests being tedious fetch quests whereas The Witcher 3, every quest felt meaningful and fleshed out. The Witcher 3 is the RPG to beat right now and if Bioware can use some of The Witcher's influence on the next DA then I'm interested.
Yeah I'd much rather hear more about the next Red Dead than the next GTA. Red Dead Redemption is easily one of the best games of all time and I prefer it to any GTA.
I hate the notion that if it doesn't do Halo or CoD like numbers on day one then it won't sell anymore. If ROTR is as good as it looks then it has all the time in the world to sell to people. I for one won't be getting it day one due to Fallout 4 but I'll definitely get it around Christmas time. In my opinion, if it's a really great game for me to play then sales are nothing but a number. I'm not an investor nor am I Square Enix.
Yep. They literally don't have to at this point and they definitely don't want to.
Halo is nothing without Bungie? Halo 4 a total mess? Okay first off, Bungie's Halo games were and still are amazing but to say 343 is doing a poor job managing the franchise is utter crap. Never has the franchise felt so alive in terms of story and scope and I can't stand when people undermine 343 just because they didn't create Halo. Halo 4 in terms of multiplayer may have been played safe since it was the company's first outing but what they did with the story is on another ...
As someone who has been obsessed with Halo lore since Combat Evolved and had ties to the MLG community, Halo 5 seems to be doing everything right. Will Halo 5 bring the groundbreaking innovation the original trilogy brought? Probably not but within the Halo franchise, Halo 5 could potentially be the best yet. The beta and Hunt The Truth made me a believer after the sense of doubt I had for Halo after the community fell off at Halo 4.
Agreed christocolus, with the marketing Microsoft has done with Halo 5 starting in March with the HUNTtheTRUTH campaign, Halo 5 is bound to exceed expectations with sales. The exceptional response to the beta will also help as well. This is the first Halo game since Reach to have the majority of the veterans on board again so expect Halo 3 numbers or more.
Black Ops 1 was the last good CoD in my opinion. CoD peaked when MW2 dropped and started falling off after MW3. I think it's time for a break.
