Bad Company 3 or nothing at all. Battlefield 3, albeit fun at times, left a bad taste in my mouth going forward. BC2 was the game that dragged me off the MW2 hype and I spent so much time in it. It had a decent campaign too which was refreshing but BF3 and BF4 campaigns were trash and were just bad scripted tech demos.
Halo 3 was supported longer than Halo 2 FYI. "All we need is Halo MCC" sure but it'll go even better right next to Halo 5 which is probably the Halo with the most intense learning curve and I've been playing competitively for 10 years.
I never thought that I could be hyped for a game again like I was for Halo 3 but Halo 5 is pretty damn close. If they can mimic the post-launch support that Halo 3 received then I think this will be the first Halo in a long time people will look back and say "Remember the Halo 5 days?" 343 just needs to keep a balance between the competitive and casual community to ensure a long lifespan for this game. The difference is that Halo/Master Chief single handedly kept Xbox in the console industry. Without Halo, Xbox 360 probably would have never happened therefore no Xbox One. I think I speak for many other Halo diehards that a numbered Halo game with Chief gets us a lot more excited than the spin-offs. It would be a bad business decision to kill MC off and the backlash towards 343 would be worse than the MCC issues.
It's too soon to put Chief down. I really don't think they will kill him off. I mean it would suck really bad for me since growing up, Master Chief was like my Superman or any other superhero. If they do decommission Chief at some point then it would make sense at Halo 6 although I really don't want it to happen. He's Xbox's Mario.

God I hope not. This shit is a plague among gaming. I think getting something like a steelbook or a poster is as far as the pre-order incentives should go. None of this in-game crap. If this tiered system catches on it'll just pull this industry into another rut that sits right next to day 1 DLC and microtransactions.

Wow I just got the worst chills ever. That was so cool. Halo 5 is literally a work of art. This is how powerful Spartans were supposed to be since day one. We've come along way since Combat Evolved but this is going to be so amazing. Great job 343. Prove the naysayers wrong.

I love Uncharted as much as the next guy but Halo is a far more established franchise and can pull CoD like numbers on a single console. Not too many games other than like Gran Turismo can say that.
That's exactly what I got out of it. I feel this year is the swan song to release the 1st party big hitters all in the same year to pave the way for a bunch of new IP for 2016 and beyond. I mean I think 2016 is a stronger year for new experiences but 2015 is the year for the hardcore Xbox fans. It'd be the equivalent to Uncharted 4, God of War 4, Gran Turismo 7, and Ratchet & Clank all releasing the same year. That would be huge for hardcore Playstation fans.
