It's been established that from a technical standpoint the PS4 version usually performs better but that doesn't mean you can't have fun on either console. Just PS4 doesn't have a bottleneck with the performance is all
Can't pull myself to watch all of this. I want to be completely surprised when I play. 343 you've managed to get me as hyped as I was in 2007. Good f***ing job.
I think something like that could happen at some point like on the PS5. I know I'd buy it for sure
Although my favorite console is probably the original Xbox, the Dreamcast was my first actual array into gaming and I have so many memories playing it. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Crazy Taxi, Expendable: Millennium Soldier, and Hydro Thunder are embedded in my childhood. I still dream about if Sega ever came back into the console business with a good direction. I know I'd be the first in line.
Sounds interesting. Definitely going to keep my eye on this. Teaser doesn't do much for me but on paper it sounds promising.
I'm honestly hoping they add Golden Abyss as DLC later on since I don't own a Vita and I always wanted to play it
I think TMCC and TNDC set the bar content wise and both contain some of the best games in gaming. I think if you're thinking about getting an Xbox One definitely get TMCC and vice versa with getting a PS4 definitely get The Nathan Drake Collection.
The Nathan Drake Collection will be the first game that I'll be playing my PS4 simultaneously with my Xbox One.
Uncharted 4 looks kickass and I cannot wait for it to drop
I like this better since it allows every map to be played. In Halo 3 it's always The Pit, Guardian, or Construct ( I'll admit I usually vote for those) and Halo 4 is usually only Haven or Skyline.
So far Halo 5's map design is on point and I personally can't wait to try out The Rig and Fathom
The T4KEN King
Right on. October 27th cannot come fast enough. Already put in my PTO time to have a couple days to play this bad boy to death.
Bungie signed the contract. They sold out for the almighty dollar. It isn't even the same Bungie that made Halo.
As long as people keep feeding the cash cow it's never going to get better.
3 years ago I would defend Bungie to death, now I condemn basically everything they do. What them and Activision do is what plagues this industry.
Well since "a lot of 360 owners went with PS4 this time around", wouldn't that mean PSN got the children you speak of?
I bet I can piss further than you
I always loved Marty. He has a real passion for what he does and the way he got treated during the development of Destiny is ridiculous. I can't imagine a Bungie game without his music. He created one of the most iconic themes with Halo and Destiny (while I hate the game) has an amazing score. It's so sad to see what used to be my favorite developer crumble from within due to the new management and the Activision overhead. Bungie is a shell of their former glory. Halo 3 had >90 dev...
I had zero interest in the Kinect on the 360 so I never owned a 360 Kinect. However, since I bought the Titanfall Xbox One bundle that came with Kinect even though I didn't think I'd use it, I ended up loving the extra dynamic that goes along with the system. Things like "Xbox record that" or "Xbox play Titanfall" to me is really cool. I don't think it should have been bundled in from the start but I think in the next Xbox they should incorporate the voice cont...
Touchè
DLC done right.
I think a lot of that had to do with Activision having a lot of control on where the story in Destiny went since most of the content that expands on the story is found in the DLC/Expansions. Joe Staten is a fantastic writer, Contact Harvest was a great Halo novel and even the writing in Marathon and Myth was very solid. Shame he can't go back to Halo primarily but his touch will definitely help make the upcoming Xbox exclusives even better in storytelling.
Man 2007 was a great year for gaming. Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Uncharted 1, Crysis, Portal, CoD 4, Super Mario Galaxy, etc. I miss those days
If I was the head of a AAA studio I would resort back to the days of in-game unlockables. The only paid DLC would be an actual full fledged expansion that is a totally new experience.
