I got the platinum. Not that it's any measure, but if I can get the plat in a game, anyone can. :P
The Vita has many games, like around 200 incoming. On top of nearly 400 existing games. This week alone it may have had a non-existent showing at E3 but we have learned that Telltale Games ARE bringing Minecraft: Story Mode and Game of Thrones to the Vita, we have World of Final Fantasy and Devolver confirmed Crossing Souls and Robin. That's on top of everything else that's coming, and PlayStation Spain CEO James Armstrong has alluded to two additional Disney titles in development for...
There are still many that think shouting, screaming and throwing tantrums through their keyboard will change the situation. The Vita is still running, but will have precious little support from Sony or bigger third parties. Many though are still supporting it, and what they offer I like, so will be playing for some time.
If it doesn't offer what someone wants, then they should really consider selling it and moving on.
It's simply crazy that Sony couldn't have spared the couple of minutes to show this at the keynote.
I'm a big believer of "E3 isn't just about the Keynote" and as items have trickled out for the Vita this week (and in the weeks leading up) this supports that, but for many people they think it is.
Most Vita owners have accepted and adjusted to the situation. Yes, SCEA/E aren't supporting it, but Third Parties and Indies are and fo...
GOTY is thrown around with massive disregard these days. Some things from a few years back have aged well, others not so well.
Bought it myself but I'm struggling to see what everyone else seems to see. This review echoes many sentiments that I have read, perhaps I'm just reached my limit for nostalgia!
One of the more pleasant Vita surprises this year. Great little game :)
It appears not, the official listing says that it doesn't have any multiplayer, online or offline and the base unit has space for only one figure, not two.
That Black suited Spidey is mine. I know infinity is aimed at the younger market but I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Great review Charlie. I got some hands on with this at Curve in February and even though I am trying to go through the first title it is even more difficult considering how much better #2 is. Great little title.
Looking forward to listening to this. :)
Love those Roll 7 chaps. So hard working, talented and passionate. They really believe in their games.
Look out for Not a Hero, it's amazing.
Always had a soft spot for Q*Bert but looks like this is something to skip.
I'm so terrible at this but I do love it. So much better than the first.
Although the latter levels can go off somewhere and die.
Ever since I played this at EGX back in September I've been desperate to get my hands on it. Since I'm not so interested in the other big Vita release this week, Flame Over shall get my money. :)
Great review Charlie.
It's nice to get some sort of acknowledgement of the vita and a free theme, but after all the fuss they made about adding themes you'd have thought there would be more.
I missed this back in the day, I'm definitely going to have to give this a look. Curse you and your non-existent games Vita, putting my backlog even further back.
I'm getting close to the end of the game now but it's incredibly frustrating. There is so much to like about the game, it just gets swallowed up in horrible repetitive battles and unnecessary jaunts across the map, which seems to extend the game play but only increases the frustration.
Which is a shame, as the art style, voice acting and premise is very likeable.
Whilst many (including myself) would have P4G in their lists, it's important to note that we don't all like the same things. It's a great testament to a much lamented system that different people are able to forge very different lists for their favourite experiences.
It also shows that despite experiencing more than 100 Vita games there are many more that I need to dedicate time to, which can only sell bad news for my backlog but good news for gaming time this yea...
A few interesting looking titles there.
