The PS2 started to pick up big sales week after week. Then the flood gates opened and it never looked back.
Same would've happened this gen had FFXIII remained exclusive outside of Japan, I guess we'll see.
so they can secure 360 version for Japan. It's their big E3 announcement this year :P

Just from seeing all the videos, I'm glad they're bringing back turn based battles but with a twist. Great graphics, characters, music, etc... it's really feeling like a FF title. I so cannot wait.
I know it's not the OMG best seller game franchise, but I've always had a fondness for the series. Best soundtracks are in Wild Arms games. Plus we need more JRPG's

When it comes to buying Blu-ray movies Amazon is the place to go.
Just recently got Iron Man and the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy brand new for cheap. They always have deals like buy 2 get 1 free.
The Playstation is made of gold, diamonds and solid granite. As a result it will last a million years and never break down. It is a bargain.
The 360 however is made of cheese, newspaper and tinfoil. They will last a few months and will need replacing.

As for the article, I know three people at my work who have 360s that are buying a PS3 and two others (who don't have any current gen systems) that have recently bought a PS3.
So yes, I can personally say from my experience, things are happening.
