Which brings me to another point... I wish developers would not show us what's down the pipe unless it's say 6 months or so before release. These waits kill me! But then on the otherhand, if they don't show us, then people won't be buying the system that said game would be releasing on. It's a very difficult balance.

At my work, our environment consists of both Mac and PC's.
The iMac has 2GHz w/ 1GB RAM and that sucker handles everything I throw at it. Mainly work in Adobe CS3 suite. I can have a bunch of apps open and it still performs really well. The PC I use for other tasks. So coming first hand, Macs do work really well even with lowered specs.
At home I run 2 PC's. One has XP, the other Windows 7.
As for buying a $850 Macbook w/ 13" screen? Nah.
