I never understood the appeal for party chat. If I'm playing a game, why would I want to talk to my friend who's playing a completely different game? It's just a feature for casuals to chit chat while their team mates are probably tired of their lack of focus. Play the game or get out lol.

Meh. Half Life was the last game I bought from them many years ago. I don't need them in my life or in my PS3. Good riddance.
All I ask from them though is this: If you're going to make a comment about something, back it up with facts. Don't use lame excuses for your incompetence and/or greed while throwing people (in this case, the PS3 community) under the bus. It makes you look like an amateur douchebag. And it burns bridges. Not smart.

Anybody that's been on the fence about getting it has no reason not to now. It will go down as one of those gems that didn't get the sales it deserved...
I personally bought two copies when it was full price (one for me and one for my little brother).
I buy a lot of games and some I trade in for new ones, but this one stays in my collection :)

Aside from having a wide selection of games to choose from, we don't like supporting that d*ckhead what's his name that runs Activision. He needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

Wow Jim Sterling sure has sunk to a new low. Calling Japan xenophobic just because the 360 isn't the #1 console there? Really? How about all the other western products and brands that do well there? Or how about *gasp* the PS3 is actually the superior console to own?
Respect and trust is earned over time. Something an M$ console has yet to achieve. Sony has already established a history. Duh! Quit blaming xenophobia. There's as much of it in western culture so it's moot.

Yeah I guess it would be "the best" if you're too poor to afford a proper PC to play FPS games and your only option are consoles. Other than that, for traditional console gamers, the answer is a big NO.
