Game developers got clever, not only are they developing games but relationships with popular reviewers and review sites. They got smart with the PR aspect essentially. This friendly relationship helps ensure over inflated review scores and the cause for a lot of head scratching when reading most of them.

The next gen Zune will be incorporating Sony organic TFT displays and mini blu-ray disc.
The U.S. could keep the 360 afloat if they can convince LIVE users for $100 fees (and there's a fair amount of stupidity within) so you could be right.
But realistically that's not a very solid business foundation though. On the scale these companies are working on, you need the world market.

Buying a NEW 360 is risky enough, I can't imagine why anyone in their right mind would chance a used one. You have to be a gambling man or incredibly stupid.
The timing of it is fishy I agree. Plus they'll rake in more money from the bannees paying for another LIVE subscription; the real source of income for M$. They essentially got them to pay for LIVE twice.
