I've had friends like that, I knew a guy in high school who literally ripped a controller in half after getting his ass kicked in Halo 2. I'm usually able to control my angry, I'll swear at a game sometimes but lately I've never actually broken anything. All I can remember is the one incident I mentioned above.

I once whipped my controller against a wall, It left a little blue mark on the bottom right corner. I feel like it gives it personality.

Halo 2 used to cause me to spew obscenities at my Xbox, but thats it. I don't remember throwing controllers or anything. I did how ever have a friend that broke a shit load of controllers.

LOL, yes gamer rage can kill kittens! I've definitely had my fair share of gamer rage. I don't think I've ever broken a wall or a controller though. I have thrown a controller against the wall before though.

@ Gun_Senishi
She is the one who caused this entire fiasco so I felt it was important to mention that it was actually her fault. I think calling her by her first time is kind of pointless and strange.

Taking my disc to a Blockbuster or Rogers video really wasn't an option for me, there really aren't any near where I'm living right now.

@ PS3 fanboys/Sony employee hopefuls
I joke, but there does seem to be a ridiculous bias on N4G. ...

It definitely sounds ridiculous, people claim it can fix any scratch. I had no luck with it though and I don't see how it could possibly work.

Do a quick google search, people claim it fixes everything.

I wish I tried the banana, I wonder if it would actually work... I imagine it wouldn't it should be the same as how the toothpaste is supposed to work.

I graduated from Nintendo Power to EGM, not sure why I lost interest in Nintendo Power. It's still an entertaining magazine, I guess I just lost interest in Nintendo in general. Nintendo Power did have a pretty strong bias too.

I thought the exact same thing, it was rather hilarious. When I saw it on the news stand I had to do a double take, I almost didn't believe that it sitting there. I secretly believed the plans to remake the magazine wouldn't end up working out.

They are back, check your local news stand. I was just as surprised as you probably are. I've heard for months about the return but haven't seen anything come from it until today.

You won't be disappointed, some of the best stuff I've read in months.

I miss Kings Quest, point and click adventure games were great. I realize companies like Telltale games still make them but they really aren't the same as they used to be.

that's one of the reasons why I hate auto aim in video games. Everything seems to be aimed at the casual gamer here. I feel like I've been forgotten by Nintendo, Sony and especially Microsoft. We hardcore gamers are still here!

I really agree with that. Final Fantasy 13, that was the total deal with it. People kept telling me it might become a great game but apparently that was like 20 hours in. I miss the days when games were awesome as soon as I put the cartridge in the console.

I can totally relate to this, I feel like gaming isn't what it used to be. It might just be that I've gotten older but I haven't had that "WOW THATS AWESOME" moment I used to get all the time in a long long time.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea for charity to me

Infamous really is a great game, leaps and bounds over Crackdown and Crackdown 2

5826d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

That's exactly how I felt, I didn't see anything different in the new game at all. I actually thought for a second they made a mistake and uploaded the old Crackdown demo to live instead.

I was thinking, did the first game have auto aim I really don't remember? For one I hate auto aim, and 2 the auto aim in this is brutal. I realize it's just a demo but I imagine it's a pretty much finished build of the game. Found my self constantly locking onto targets I really didn't want to.

I totally apologize for the title, there is no excuse for that. How did it slip through the approvals process with such a glaring typo!
