It is out selling the PS3 simply to piss of the PS3 centric N4G community :)
I wonder if that would actually work?
I've never had to deal with a problem like this before. I wonder what kind of games you'll actually be able to play.
I complained because it was reported for being "lame" before it was even read. For instance, you reported it less than 10 seconds after I uploaded it to the site. Unless your a ridiculous speed reader there is no way you actually read the editorial. If you had actually read it you would have specifically reported it for it's "flamebate" title not generall classified it as "Lame"
It was deleted so it could have actually have a chance, perhaps ...
@Havok
I'm not really sure what your talking about... but not all of us have the expendable income to own every home console. Most probably own just one.
@Odion
I realize there are still exclusives coming out, just not ones that I'm interested in. Crackdown 2 was absolutely terrible, it was the first game only worse. I'm not looking forward to Fable 3, Fable 1 and 2 were both highly overrate. I'll pick up Gears but I'm kind of bored of the ...
I couldn't agree more but if you actually read the story you'd realize I'm not blindy bashing Microsoft and I'm not a fan boy in any way. I've simply just owned Microsoft products for a number of years and am extremely dissapointed in what I've seen from Kinect so far.
I'm really not attacking them at all, I also realize that down the line there will be more hardcore titles, I even stated that in the actual article.
@Omega4
I think a lot of people would be really excited about it, even an on rails shooter would be ridiculously entertaining. Imagine controlling an FPS with just your body, how is that possibility not exciting?
I also realize that those titles are still being released. I want to see these games us...
You may know this but I'm sure there are a number of people that are unaware of Microsoft's new strategy.
I don't think there in a whole already, other than hardware failures I think Microsoft has been very successful this generation. Sadly I also think that Kinect will be very successful, casual gamers are ridiculously impressed by the device.
Indeed you are correct sir, my mistake it's been changed in the story. I was going off by what I saw at the M$ press conference I didn't realize it wasn't exclusive.
I have to agree, lately there seem to be so many mistakes Microsoft is making. Kinect doesn't appeal to me at all. Like I said in the article, they are focusing on the casual gamer, they are leaving the hardcore gamer behind.
That sounds more like Mortal Kombat than Pokemon, that would cause the franchise to loose everything that makes it so special. Extreme violence is not the point of Pokemon.
I totally disagree, each iteration of the series has improved upon the last in almost every possible way.
That same exact thing happened to me in Soul Silver, I had to level up my Chikorita just to be.at Bugsy. His Scyther kept destroying me with uturn, man was that a difficult battle. It probably took me a few hours to finall beat him.
Personally I like the fact that the series hasn't really evolved that much but there are still some major things Gamefreak should modernize. Most particularly the online experience, Pokemon has so much potential when it comes to online gaming and I've yet to see the developers take advantage of it yet.
I totally agree about the new Pokemon, a lot of them are pretty stupid looking. I kind of wish they just stuck with the original 150. Another cool idea would be to include kanto and jhoto with every version along with whatever new region they create.
Looks like the PS3 doesn't Own the 360 in terms of hardware reliability
Just like the "Move" is a complete copy of the Wii. It's basically a Wii motion plus.
I'd say you can still play Pokemon and have a life... just like you can play any game and have a life. The only thing that makes the fact that Pokemon is still enjoyable as an adult strange is that it is a franchise aimed at kids. Underneath it's kiddy exterior there is some epic strategy to Pokemon though.
It's totally the responsibility of the parent, if you don't want your kid playing GTA at 12 then don't let him. On the other hand if you think your child can handle it, he'll probably play it at a friends house anyways, then by all means get the game for him.
