Ya, people do seem to get attacked on N4G for saying anything pro-microsoft/pro-xbox. It kind of sucks but that's how these communities usually work.
Mass Effect 2 is one of the few games I've played recently that completely immersed me, I was basically playing it at one point just to find out what happens next in the story. Red Dead Redemption is supposed to have a great plot but I could never get into it, maybe because it's a western and that really isn't my thing, I don't know.
Half Life definitely has an engrossing story. When I think of story telling in video games I think of Final Fantasy 6, that game was epic story wise. That opera scene, I'll never forget it. Kefka was perhaps one of the greatest bad guys in a game ever.
I feel like metal gear is too confusing, it often comes off as a cheesy b movie to me.
I'm wondering if that would actually work, we haven't actually tried the service yet. That will happen sometime this week so we'll have to see how everything works that is if she even gets anyone to pay to play with her.
I also wonder if guys can do this, maybe there is a gay gamer crowd out there. I think during the sign up process you could say you were a male but i'm not sure if that cancelled the process or what.

We have MLG over here but I don't see it ever EVER getting as bitch as South Korea's Starcraft leagues. I don't understand how 2 guys playing a video game can fill a stadium. CRAZY!
I've watched some videos on this game and was rather impressed with it. Like studonaplug said, I'd be cool if more quality games started to get to the arcade. They cost way less money in that case.

I may pick this game up, it depends on how much it costs. I wanted Shadow Complex but I always felt like it was so expensive, 1200 points is a lot of money.
I got tires of the COD franchise a long time ago, I just couldn't handle the rampat cheating and lag anymore.
I honestly really liked Halo Wars, Consoles don't usually do RTS's well. I think Ensemble adapted the whole RTS formula, resource managment, speed and resources to work on a console and with a controller.
I know that, I wasn't a fan of the duel wielding. I liked the simplicity of Halo: Combat Evolved, I feel like shooters are to complicated these days. I'm hoping Reach solves this. I guess to answer the question I posed in my editorial, I want simplicity and a return to Halo's roots in both the campaign and multiplayer. That will keep me plying the game

I disagree, there are a lot of blinded fan boys out there. They see "Halo" on the box and go "OMGZ." I love the series and some may call me a fan boy but like you I love it because it is fun to play not just because the Master Chief is plastered across the cover.
Halo is one of the only reasons why I own an Xbox 360 and why I eventually bought an Xbox. I've been there since the beginning, I just feel like the series is starting to seem stale. You can't just keep releasing the same game with more weapons. Especially when it was Halo:Combat Evolved's simplicity that made it so amazing.
I honestly didn't think I could have fun with Pokemon anymore. I'm surprised the formula is still entertaining as an adult.
