They are so insecure about what the internal specs are that you see them constantly comparing them to high end pc's.

quite a shame. Sure Origin has a little to do with it but I'm not a fan of season passes and that ultimately sealed the deal for me. That and BF4 is just essentially BF2 on the frostbite engine.

you can disable vsync. It all falls on the quality of your monitor.
I personally recommend the 120hz acer gd235hz I experience zero to very minimal screen tearing in all games with vsync off

It's not that they are wrong, it's just you can't compare AMD FLOPS and NVIDIA FLOPS. Seeing as how Nvidia isn't in the console market. This news doesn't apply to console gamers on N4G.
