Would be nice to think that way but in reality if they are upping the DLC it just means people are buying it. A LOT of it.

ps4 is x86 based so the whole "developers are only gonna get better at it" doesn't apply here as developers are extremely familiar with it already.

Come to find out here we are 6 years later to find out that games like Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 destroyed console game sales, Arma 2 sold millions, The Indie scene dominates on PC.
Crytek went on sell millions of Crysis 1 copies on pc FUBAR'd Crysis 2 by catering to console and went on to try and repair the bridge they burned with...
If M$ or Sony allowed mouse and keyboard out the gate no restrictions.

That said they fell as a company when they began placing the stockholder first. They never did figure out that if you sell a high quality product it will make money AND increase consumer loyalty.
Or perhaps they truly believe the standard for what they consider a quality product is so low by our terms they don't believe they are doing anything wrong.

I still play cs 1.6 on occasion...came out in 99 it required Half Life to play as it was a mod. Just saying. Games will never die as long as BC is not an issue. You tend to lose franchises to next gen consoles.

AMD CPU's are weak in general. See AMD's current lineup of 6/8 core processors to see how well they stack up to current Intel offerings.
Hell The Phenom II x4's of 2 generations ago are beating out AMD's newest lineup. They just aren't that good.

Nobody should judge you for that. It's simple really. Take the mmo side for example. WoW gets 10x more hate than all other mmo's but at the end of the day when another wow clone comes out the people who are lying to themselves day 1 of switching from wow and fill up chat with "OMG this is sooo much better than wow!" Usually end up just going back to WoW.

I'm very confused as to why Sony has not announced PS2 for the PS4.
But then again it may not look it but PS2 requires some power in the cpu dept. Not sure if the ps4 could handle that.
We will have videocards as fast if not faster than Titan in the next 3-4 years.
Of course I am talking about mainstream flagship cards and not niche for the benchmark enthusiast.
