The many millions of players who like anime/manga beg to differ and to them it DOES matter. Your personal experience is, in this instance, irrelevant. The loading times are extremely different and it would be interesting to know how that came to be exactly.

I really think we need to be careful. I'm biased for the ps3 as I own one, but I seem to recall that other games have had faster loading times on 360 than ps3. Perhaps, in the case of this game, is has more to do with developer (lack of) skills than hardware? Either way, I hope people still enjoy their game, regardless of console brand.
Of course halo has a shallow story, surely this doesn't surprise anyone? However, the game has been very successful in attracting people to keep playing the multiplayer part so Bungie did SOMETHING right. If nothing else it shows that a lacklustre story can be compensated by other elements in a game. Because just as it's clear that halo lacks a high class story it must be clear to anyone that the franchise is a juggernaut. At least until they milk it too dry in the near future.

Yeah, I never bother reading any of the translated articles. The quality of the translation is just too poor. But all in all I have high hopes for socom4, it just might be the game that could interrupt my non stop MAG playing ;)

Same here, my 60gb is just fine. But it would be interesting to know how many have been fugged up because of the actual update.
@ RuPaul: Well, I bought a launchday 360 that got replaced and later on the replacement got replaced. I then got a 60gb fatty two years ago and it's still sexing up my days and working just fine. Personal experiences are irrelevant on the greater whole, but I'm sure large scale statistics would show that it's the 360 consoles that have been the most prone to breaking down, not the ps3.

To be on topic, I think that mgs guy is full of crap. I know I don't want to play on pc because of constant hardware upgrades and all those fiddly bugs and crap. With a console I get to play gorgeous games and not worry AT ALL about getting this or that upgrade or caring about other technical stuff. For me personally it is pc-gaming which is dead.

I don't understand why people get so worked up over this. But it seems there are two major factions at play here. The utterly pathetic ps3 fanboys who gloat at inconveniences of other and the utterly pathetic xbots who get a brain meltdown because a server is temporarily down. I despise both groups endlessly. He IS right in that it is a poor experience. I hate browsing with my ps3, it's slow and really not very practical. The only times I do it is when my laptop is on repairs. That said, it's still a somewhat useful feature to have.
Anyone claiming Halo is crap and shouldn't come to the ps3 is a retarded sony fanboi. That game has a massive fanbase and many ps3 owners would enjoy those games. Please, don't let your blind, and utter childish, sony fanboi-ism cloud your judgement. I don't even care if we'll see no halo on ps3, bungie is a very talented studio and any game they could release on ps3 would be interesting! I own a ps3.

Game looks....meh. The characters look outright boring.
But the dev actually said the the console impatience made for a better result for the game.
