Why would the actors need to be Japanese? You DO realise that most people who will see the movie will have no idea whatsoever about the game, right? I'd prefer western actors, though not the usual big names from the US. Concerning Fanning...agreed.
I'd like native 1080p before 3d as well. And while I think 3d can be fun I don't feel it's very important to me, at least not yet. It's like when I see 3d movies at the cinema, it's cool and all but if it can't contribute in a meaningful way to the story it's just tacked on crap I pay extra for. 3d is a fun addition, nothing more (at least until the technology is refined in a decade or two.)
Hmm, might be interesting. For many years I've looked at rpg's from Japan with utter disgust. But then recently I tried Valkyria Chronicles and, though it perhaps is not strictly an rpg, I found it to be utterly AWESOME. I'm now somewhat interested in asian rpg's ;)
If anyone has any nice advice on games that are somewhat similar to Valkyria Chronicles or just knows some other awesome rpg's, please pm me!
The demo didn't excite me very much. It looks fairly well and I like the voices, and facial expressions, of the two characters but the no-brainer and no-risk monkey jumping around is just boring to me. Combat is ok I guess.
I just keep asking myself why the guy in demo bothered with trying to reach the escape pod?! Because he had no problems surviving being shot into the atmosphere and crash to the ground while hanging on to the outside of one. I like more realistic game...
Well, I'm not purchasing a psp just to get VC3. That said, I really wish they would release it for the ps3 as I REALLY love VC1, it's an awesome game.

I think most people are not always feeling awkward because of the de facto age of the characters, but rather because the physical presentation of them show a very young person. Portraying a seemingly very young girl as 16 still might seem tacky to many regardless of her legal age in a game, the visual presentation is always more powerful than than the virtual age in the virtual background file in the game.
You dislike people accusing Asian devs of sexualising minors and claim that is "picking on other countries"...and then you call the American people fucks? And while I agree that this unhealthy pornification of under aged (mostly) females is an ongoing process in media almost everywhere I still think it's much worse in Japan than in the west. This video is indeed EPIC! It's gorgeous, even at sub-HD, and they succeeded very well with bringing the characters to life, especially with the facial expressions of the cat-girl. I'm looking forward to march and I'll check reviews of the ps3 version then. I've been waiting for a good mmo for the ps3.

I'm looking forward to this. I've bought all the previous dlc to Borderlands and have enjoyed them VERY much, they all offer great bang for the buck unlike most other game dlc which are short/shallow for the cost they come for.
I view anyone who truly feels the firmware updates are chores as full blown retards. Be glad, you ungrateful worms, that Sony releases updates for our console.

Indeed you didn't, my bad. I haven't played the game yet but I'm looking forward to the HD release of it. I just don't understand how a 2 hour story can fit in the demise of some 14-16 giant creatures without making it repetetive or trivial. I guess in the game each of them were epic fights?
