I prefer realism any day of the week. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate other art forms as well though. These screens look mighty good and in my book any kind of remake of populous is effing fantastic!
Agreed, this game could be very good. Understandably the rest of the non-US world (well...at least me) is very tired of the US navel-gazing typical in games but as long as the game is free of frothing Americanism, flag waving and chest bursting patriotism it should be fine.
@ omi25p: Agreed! I owned a 360 before I returned it and got my 60gb fatty instead. I don't miss the 360 console but I've been disgusted by the pathetic ergonomics of the current ps3 controller. Now I can finally have a decent controller for the kick-ass games on the fatty!
I'd buy all my games new if the people who make/market/sell them could shave off some 25% of the price tag. Otherwise I'll continue to buy only some 3-4 games a year as I do now, because I'm not willing to take it up the ass to pay the greedy pricks their bloated prices.

But to be honest I really liked Chromehounds, even with the flaws it had.
I remember system shock still. That game was pure genius and almost had me crapping my pants many times.
There was this game on the 360 before I returned that crapbox to the store and got my fatty...whatsitcalled...Chrome Hounds! I liked that game a lot. With all its faults it was a tactical mech game without retarded asian-style rocket trajectories and had a pace that befitted metal behemoths of hundreds of tonnes. It was great. And to the sony fanbois who disagrees simply because I like a 360 game...I shit on you.
Look pretty interesting. But at the same time I'm not so sure I like the thought of some super leet other player joining my "single" player game and start pushing me around. Nonetheless, I'm interested!

Forget it, I think most of the COD drones will pay up. They rattle their little sabers now but when it comes to the crunch theu will pay the sub and gulp down the coming buggy shit games without dedicated servers.
I own a ps3 but I miss my 360 controller I had before I returned that console to the store permanently. I have big hands and the ps3 controller is utter rubbish for me.
I agree with that the rogue was worthless. Or perhaps not worthless, just very unnecessary. I'm looking forward very much to DAII though, the first one was a great game. I wonder though if decisions made in the DLC stories will have any follow ups in DAII or if it will only be the main story.
This is great news! I really enjoyed all the previous DLCs to Borderlands but I thought they said they were officially done after the secret armoury? I'm really looking forward to this DLC, yaaaaay! =)
No multiplayer is a big drawback for sure. And then the game is way too Asian (over the top ridiculous) for my tastes. Hope it sells well and people enjoy it though. To each their own and all that.
