Makes me want to pick up another PSP...
Articles like this are pure speculation and should not have been approved by the members of N4G.
I'm in agreement... Motion control has no place with the hardcore gamer.
Sorry, but I did not see a differance in the two pictures.
Sorry folks but from what I saw Natal is YEARS away from achieving anything Triple A. There is no way MS is going to advance the program that fast. Shoot the E3 demo of the girl kicking the balls was slow and lagged behind her actual movements. Natal might become a reality on top of the line PCs in a year or two but I doubt you'll see it console form for many years... I’m not saying that the technology sucks I’m just saying don’t get your hope up for a fast release.
As a gamer I won at this years E3. That what I want Games, and that is what was announced this year conference AWESOME GAMES...
I was really hoping that Mass Effect 2 was coming the PS3...
As Gamer who prefers the PS3 over the 360 I am happy that the 360 will get to play Metal Gear. After all it is a great series. Gongrat, and enjoy.
Please cut out all the Fanboy Crap. Be a gamer and not a fanboy...
I always enjoy reading science fiction. In his next article, the author will show how Taco Bell and McDonalds will form a partnership because they both sell beef products. Get a grip people...
After reading the source I determined that the article does not even mention the PS3, only the PSP. The service described in the questionnaire would be perfect for the PSP-GO which is believed to support downloadable games. To me it seems like Sony is doing market research to support the new PSP. However, there is nothing that leads me to believe it is related to the PS3.
Only time will tell if exclusives can improve PS3 sales... Currently they have not moved a whole lot of machines.
A quick and simple GOOGLE search for the "Yellow Ring of Death PS3" received 68,900 links, however searching for "Red Rind of Death 360" resulted in 645,000 links. Based on this simple comparison I would have to say that the YROD is not that big of a problem. I'm not saying it does not happen only that it does not seem widespread...
AHHHHHH HA HA HA
Personnaly I could care less, but it is pure joy to witness the crying and whining from all of the Fanboys.
This author is an idiot. By stating that the sales charts determine the winner, the author clearly states their lack of understanding of the business world. Profit does matter and it is the potential profit that drives each of these three companies to compete in the game market. By simply looking at raw sales numbers the author is omitting the driving force of business…PROFITS. Avoiding issues such as manufacturing costs, marketing cost, repair and warranty costs, etc turns this argument ...
I for one applaud the approach Sony has taken. They are not placing the cost burden for maintaining the PSN onto the consumer. Instead they built the cost into the business model. Personally, I would rather have the game publishers pay the fee than have any consumer pay for it. If these fees actually hurt the game publishers finically, they would simply raise the cost of PS3 games versus other systems. But they don’t…. MS on the other hand uses the consumer to maintain their XBL service...
Does anybody know who were the characters that were briefly shown at the end of the clip.
I think Xi will be some type of link or transportation device
If you were one of the N4G members who voted for this article you should feel ashamed. It serves no purpose but to incite the fanboys...
The first problem is that you like many other consumers believe that buying a piece of electronic equipment, one that has a high probability of failure, can be likened to a “rite of passage.” Insomuch that that you didn’t even get angry when the RROD occurred, because deep down you knew it would happen eventually. You stated “I wasn't even angry, thinking that this is just a rite of passage for anyone that owns this system and I just have to deal with it.” I do not think MS should extend t...
Halo 4 has not even been announced. Nor has a Demo or Beta been made available to compare against. Waste of time...
Natal does not utilize a controller. I simply cannot envision how a player is going to squeeze the trigger, Let alone maintain the latency required for a fast paced game such as Halo. The player at the E3 demo was lagging behind the on-screen character, and she was simply trying to kick a large ball. Now picture trying to quickly aim and switch from target to target zeroing in for a head shot only to be reminded that you have no way to squeeze the trigger…
Let’s leave moti...
