I keep hearing about how the PS3 is having issues, however the people making the comments likely do not own a PS3. Short of the Day 1 lack of servers, the PS3 has not had any issues playing online. I've been playing lag free and it didn't cost me a penny. Don't listen to these people, MW2 online plays just fine. No Lag, No connection issues, and best of all no cost.
Simply buy the game and play it. I don't really care what console your playing.

A funny thing about those who justifying pirating because Activision is charging more for their games is that they are charging more in order to offset their losses due to pirating. So who is getting hurt? The honest gamer that’s who. Activision and all other developers need to make money on their games or they will simply stop making them. It’s a business, not a free handout. They do not spend years making a game to give it away at a loss. Piracy is hurting the entire gaming community....

I'm sorry but Sony is not in need of saving. Sony's management team are making decisions based on business pratices. Corporations do not set goals to apease fanboys... From a business perspective, Sony is doing just fine. They are even making money on a system that is nine years old. Following that... in 6 more year the PS3 will still be on the shelf making money. I doubt the 360 will still be on the shelf as MS wants to rid themselves of costly replacements as soon as possible.

I can explain why Xbox has a larger attach rate… The owners generally are less intelligent than their PS3 counterparts. Any gamer that would suffer through not one but several RROD’s would likely buy any game published no matter how good it was. It seems that the PS3 gamer is a bit more selective when buying a game while the Xbox gamer buys simply for the sake of buying. After all if you are gullible in one area you are likely gullible in another.

The latest numbers I remember reading place the PS3 only 4-5 million behind the Xbox in terms of sales. Given the fact that the Xbox released a year earlier, that is not that big of a lead. I think a price cut will help speed up the PS3 closing the gap, but the gap is closing either way...
Owning a PS3 I'm in the market for a Xbox but for a second console they are too expensive... even at $199.

I'll have to wait an see some reviews of the game beofre buying. I had every intention of buying the game but now I'll hold off. Why... if the game has errors and bug who will patch it now that the studio is gone. Sure EA will ensure a patch is done, but it will take twice as long since they are unfamiliar with the code. All in all the game looks good but I'm going to wait this out since they closed the studio.
