The sad part is that some people will buy it.
EA's Dead Space Mutiplayer Beta was a good thing, it showed gamers what's going to be wrong with the game and gave them a reasons to cancel their pre-orders.
Sorry to disapoint you but I'm still planning on getting the game for the single player.
It matters not that MS holds the second spot in consoles sales, or even that XBL is a profitable service for them. What does matter is the overall profit margin for the ED division. My guess is that we've already seen the impacts of this with a decline in 360 exclusives and the raise in XBL costs. Not to mention the efforts MS is taking to expand its gamer base into the casual market with Kinect.

I like a wide varity of games on all consoles. But a decrease in exclusives is not a good thing for any console. However, this generally does occur around the end of a consoles lifecycle. With AAA games taking 3-4 years to create MS could very well be working on the titles for the next Xbox... and release it in two-three years (Guessing of course). Only time will tell.
I noticed evey cheater mentioned they were leaving Halo and going to Black Ops. The problem from my non-cheating standpoint is that the CoD series never punishes those who cheat. So like moths to a flame the cheaters are expecting to be able to clitch and boost in Black Ops. If CoD history is correct... Black Ops will be full of them. I just wish they would take action to reset those cheaters as well...
But not as many as there are on XBL right now.
I for one am tired of seeing the "outfit your avatar with halo ads" and all of the ads for Subway Firery Subs, Cars, music, movies and so forth.
If I want a movie I'll look for it. If I want to dress up my avatar I'll look for it. I don't want to have to navagate through all that garbage to find what I'm looking for.

I'm doing my part. I've already got Reach, and pre-orderd both Black Ops and MOH. FPS games are like Jays Potato chips.... You can't just have one. (think I'm showing my age with that quote)

Only one of the ten games apears to be remotely enjoyable. MGS Rising, all of the others apears to be spamware for Kinect.

Just because it can run on the PSP does not mean it is playable. The button configuration is totaly differant, so I'd think that most games could not be played as created.
3D is not for at the present.

Sorry but this just sounds fake to me. 1st off the kids are 10 and 13 and can probably take care of themselves. Not that they should have to but if they were forced to they could. 2nd the dogs would not simple go to a separate room and die of starvation. If pressed for survival the dogs would have grabbed the cold beans or any of the other food garbage laying around instead of starving to death. This whole story just seems fake. It was probably written by the same folks who think Elvis ...
Live with it people. Personnaly, I own and played it on the 360 and now I'll do the same on the PS3. That way I can decide which console verison to buy Mass Effect 3 on.
and a brand new PS2 still lights up a childs eyes at X-mas time. The PS2 is still selling becuase people are buying them. This is not about the console wars, its busniess plain and simple. Grow up people and think outside your little fanboy war.
