Are you trying to say that Metal Gear Solid is more commonly found in the 'bargain bin' than the original Gears of War? The 2 disc special edition Gears of War retails for 39.99 so I can't imagine finding an older copy for more than 25 to 30 bucks. Metal Gear Solid? Not so much.

Uhhh, I just converted it if you missed that part. Over 6 million dollars. I know they are losing money on the PS3 but when you consider they are making a ridiculous profit on their PSP and PS2 it probably evens itself out. Look, all I'm saying is that neither company is doing much better or much worse than the other in Japan. And there is no need to spin anything. The Playstation Brand is not coming down as hard as you like to think it is.

60 Gig Xbox 360 in Japan costs 29,800 yen
40 Gig PS3 in Japan costs 39,980 yen
So the 360 made Microsoft 246,475,800 yen
The PS3 made Sony 289,135,360 yen (Give or take for both of these because I am using one model)...on the PS3 alone...

Not so much defending as stating what most PS3 owners feel. Losing exclusive games is not as big a deal as you make it seem. I have never bought or played a copy of Tekken so this announcement doesn't affect me in one bit. There really hasn't been enough footage shown to say weather or not you like it. If I had to base my opinion on weather or not I liked Call of Duty 4 off of the beta, I might not really care a whole lot. But I loved the single player story. I have always loved campaigns and I'm sure I will love Killzone 2. I actually played the first Killzone...for about 5 minutes. I thought it was awful! I know I was disappointed when I heard the next SOCOM was multiplayer only. I had always loved the single player mode in the SOCOM games and really wished there was a "next-gen" SOCOM single player campaign.

Then why is it that Call of Duty 4 looks identical on both platforms? Both games were made along side each other with no porting involved. I just looked through my Best Buy ad and don't see anything. The only thing I see is on the back and its a 46 inch Sony LCD next to a PS3, next to Saints Row 2 and SOCOM. No bundle, however. Either The don't advertise it in the circular or its not available everywhere.
