If there is anyone in this world that I would take the most pleasure in punching repeatedly in the face, it would be this guy. I absolutely cannot stand Aaron Greenberg. I don't care if he thinks the 360 is going to win or not. I just really want to shove my fist down his throat.
Commendable review. I agree with just about every point. I was leery of other reviews, but I loved the original and had to have this game. I am really not disappointed at all. Some missions can be frustrating, but I usually find a way around it.

This isn't meant to be a review. For all the people pissed at this article, this is what they do. They have an 'hour lunch break' and they play a game in that hour and see how it goes. It sucks that it took so long to install, but that's what he got stuck with. Like he said at the bottom, he would have to play more to find out it the game was worth it.
Ha, yeah I noticed that part about him trying the plant the bomb. That was actually the first thing I tried to do in the beta, but I was actually on the other side. It was breach, I think. But yeah, I understand about how long it took. And I'm not trying to hate. I am so excited for these problems to get straightened out. I have been waiting for this game since Combined Assault came out.

Wow he got lucky. Got to play in under an hour. I started my 1.10 patch at about 5 pm last night. Watched some TV, went to dinner, came home about 7:45 and it was at about 46% Finally wrapped up the download and installation at about 8:30. Took about 30 more minutes to actually connect and get into ONE game. Quit at 9. What a horrible night. Slant Six needs to fix this ASAP! What good is getting a game on launch day when you can't play it?!
What about that statement makes me sound desperate? Its the truth! If all Xbox 360's had a hard drive, developers would utilize that and make you install game data! Because Microsoft wanted make a sku without a hard drive, developers cannot count on everybody having a hard drive. Do you really think that if all Xbox 360s had at least a 20 gig hard drive Microsoft would still make installing game data 'optional' when it is done on the PS3? There is no way that it would be like that.
The 360 came out a year before itself? Well if anyone was to accomplish a task like that I suppose it might be Microsoft. And as for Metal Gear Solid 4, it really doesn't look like its going to happen. It looks more like the next Metal Gear game will be Multiplatform.
No I have cable. I have a feeling I started downloading the update at the same time most of the rest of the world did. Horrible experience so far. Its they are aware of the 'problem' with the servers, but isn't that why we beta tested? I have yet to play a game.
Yeah I agree with the firmware update. It has so far taken me about 3 hours to download it alone.

On topic. They need to figure out a way to broadcast this message when you turn on the 360. Right when you turn it on, a little box pops up with the information that you need to get the free/discounted stuff. Maybe even make it so it only pops up on the consoles that are eligible for the deal.

@Gam71 The reason people use Amazon is because it is one of the biggest online retailers on the internet. It has a list of its best selling items in Video games and LittleBigPlanet is number 2. Metal Gear Solid Bundle is number 4. The plain 80 GIG PS3 is number 14. The first 360 hardware you find is the Pro Holiday Bundle at number 36. That's the only thing people point out on the list.
So as of now, no games support this feature?

I put this game up on Amazon. I really wish you could still return opened games as I am just disappointed in what Slant Six brought to the table. Oh well. I bought Dead Space instead and I am loving it!
