Wow. 2 disagrees. I actually don't even own a 360 and I didn't have my system brick with the 2.4 update, but there were people that had problems with it. Just telling the truth, just like people talking about the NXE giving RROD. Some people get it, some people didn't.
Well this is good to hear. I shared with someone I knew, but I changed my password/erased my billing info, etc. I got my account back, but now some of my save files are whack, telling me I copied someones file and I have to delete it and start over. I thought it might be because they did something to my account for sharing home. But I guess its just a glitch. Same with Resistance 2, Quantum of Solace, LittleBigPlanet. I have to start over all of those! I hope a fix is in the works...
Do you have any idea how much it is going to cost SE to put it on that many discs? Licensing fees will be ridiculous. That's why Jon Carmack (id software) is trying really hard to put it on 1 disc.

To be fair, Sony had problems like this with firmware updates. The most notorious was 2.4 (right? in-game xmb?) Some people's PS3s bricked. Although, Sony wasn't hyping any firmware update as much as Microsoft was doing to their NXE.

You do realize that when Valve was asked weather or not the game would be coming to PS3, the said, word for word, "Left 4 Dead is 100% Xbox 360 exclusive". Regardless of your logic (which obviously is correct) Valve is wrong because it is coming out on the PC. I think that's where most of this talk is stemming from.

It sounds more like he is saying downloadable titles MIGHT become exclusive to the PS3. Like Bionic Commando and stuff like that. Yeah, I doubt Resident Evil would be going exclusive any time soon.
I think if everybody knew that all systems weren't ever going to go anywhere, everybody would be fine. But there is that small nagging doubt that one of the companies will completley cream the other and they won't be able to continue. Personally, it would be a nightmare for the gaming industry if it were to go Microsoft's way. The monopoly they have in the Operating System business is just a horrible example of what could happen. People pay out the a$$ for Windows and its sister software ...
