Amen, although I do see it starting to ramp up. I see two or three Sony commercials every night if I'm watching TV. Mostly the Playstation Network one with all those people with pictures floating all over the place.

Wow, I read this whole article. And then I read every single comment posted here...and I can tell most of the 360 fanboys didn't read much of it. Think what you want, but the guys makes a lot of good points.

"The PS3 has started this generation as the most expensive console, and remains the most expensive console. The PS3 enjoyed the largest boost in sales compared to this period in 2007. NPD numbers have the PS3 and the significantly reduced 360 neck and neck, with the 360...

How is Thunderbird 'not even close' to Outlook? I do use it and I love it. I don't need anything more from it and its free! And can any Office Product convert any document you throw at it into a PDF? Unless the newer versions can do that, the answer is no. Another feature of OpenOffice which you state is lacking. Obviously the choice is the consumers and if they are happy to give away their money to Microsoft, then I guess I will have pity on them...

Why do they talk so bad? Lets take a look!

Microsoft Office Professional: $499.95 Standalone | $329.95 Upgrade
Includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Accounting, Publisher.

OpenOffice: 100% FREE
Includes Writer (Word), Impress (PowerPoint), Calc (Excel), Base (Access), Draw (Publisher)

So...wow I could pay 500 bucks to get what I can get for free elsewhere...and people thought the PS3 was expensive at launch...

For every product Microsoft puts out for an insane amount of money, there is one for free that works just as good. People just don't know about them or they are afraid to change. I mean, it is hard to avoid Windows unless you are a computer nerd (i.e. building your own computer and running linux) but as far as productivity applications, there is always something either free or better out there. Thunderbird for Outlook, Firefox for Internet Explorer, OpenOffice for MS Office, etc. The only...

So I saw some people talking about compatibility issues with FireFox (i.e. a website not working because it needs internet explorer to work) and wanted to make sure everyone knew that there is an add on called the 'PrefBar' that lets you fool most websites into thinking you are using Internet Explorer. It works wonders for me. It also has quick buttons for turning off images, flash, and javascript for lightning fast browsing. Get it here.

"We’d mentioned in a previous podcast that this would be free content, but we can now confirm that it will be premium paid-for content."

Pay-for DLC. Honestly, I'm fine with it. Its a game I'm still playing. Plus, how many updates have we gotten for free?!

I couldn't finish more than 5 missions. Driving was WAY TOO MUCH of a chore. The thing I hated the most, is that you would save, drive for a good 6 minutes, then pass a 'checkpoint' and get shot to hell. You never saved in between, so you would have to drive those 6 minutes all over again! I really REALLY wanted to like this game and I was so excited for it, but it was really just TOO open.

What makes Resistance any more generic than Gears of War? Its just another third person shooter, right? You can't honestly believe that Gears of War is more original than Resistance. And who cares about sales? Numbers do not matter when comparing games. Like it was mentioned, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, etc. all sucked according to your logic, and every game with 'Wii' in front of it is amazing!! Wake up! Sales do not determine the quality of a game. Sales determine how many people...

I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated by this. I can't play any of my trophy enabled games because it tells me my save files were copied. My PS3 won't even recognize Burnout unless I delete the 1.5 update.

HA! That's hilarious. I can see it now, a nice white box with black lettering, "Resident Evil 5". All while Microsoft is 'happy to announce' the 360 version has box art.

Did you guys even read this article? First of all, its a rumor. Second, this is for Japan only as of right now. Obviously the answer is no, you did not read it. Plus, they say the word 'timed', as in it will come to PS3, in Japan, in due time, if the rumor is even true. Wow you guys are pathetic...

"The PLAYSTATION®3 system software update may include security patches, new or revised settings and features and other items, which will change your current operating system. "

I hope that means it is taking care of broken saves due to password changing. I can't play LittleBigPlanet, Burnout, Quantum of Solace, and Mercenaries 2 because it thinks I copied someones save file!!
