I'll be ready for a 720 in late 2012. In 2013 i'll be ready for a PS4, but no sooner; I'm enjoying my PS3 still enough to be content until then.
I'll be skipping the Wii U unless Nintendo reveals some features, capabilities, and games that make the console more desirable.
Good to hear. I'm loving the game, but ever since the save file passed 7 MB on my PS3 it has been suffering notable frame-rate drops. Hopefully this issue can be addressed quickly; it's a pretty important issue.

I remember that article you linked. One of the whiniest, most spoiled rants I've read anywhere in a while. Now, it's not that the piece doesn't have some valid points. The problem lies in the whiny, self-entitled, constantly complaining tone that permeates the whole thing. There is one very simple thing that writer, and you, need to remember:
Bethesda doesn't HAVE to make games, and you don't HAVE to buy them. Nobody owe...
I've recently grown to love indie gaming. Now, many of them, sadly, really aren't that great, but there are some gems out there that have really enthralled me.
Glad to see consoles offering increasing indie game options. It really helps keep things fresh and inspires creativity throughout the industry.
That's it...my Nord is getting married.
uh...EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU SAVE it shows the file size. It's hard not to notice. I'm approaching 6 megs. Get back under your bridge.
Kakihara...your experiece has been read, appreciated, and was incredibly similar to one of mine.
I came out of a hut - owned by an overpowered mage who killed me repeatedly - only to have TWO FREAKIN' DRAGONS flying around in the sky! One came down and between my companion, a Flame Atrioch I summoned, my horse, and a local cave bear that kept the winged monster busy, I was able to take it down.
As soon as I looted the body and absorbed the soul I ran ...
Its so true. Ive played 30 hours of Skyrim in 4 days. My boss logged 35 hours in 3 days! (We both took 11/11/11 off)
I really do agree with banning cheaters. People paid good money to enjoy their time, and others shouldn't be able to ruin that time for them because of an exploit or cheat.
So I thought this was going to be yet another Flamebait, nerd-rage "Why I hate COD" piece, but I actually enjoyed the piece. At what point is excessive game violence a tool for story telling, or merely an attention grab for shock value?
Here here! I felt the EXACT same about these titles. They really deserve mote attention and praise.
Like Dan, I'm not keen on 3D either. Not opposed to those that are fans, however.
I wish I already had my hands on Skyrim. The wait is KILLING ME.
I'm just gonna have to break down and pony up for BF3. It just looks so cool.
Looks incredible. I am thrilled to explore the rich world of Skyrim.
It was also nice to see a video focused on the story and non-combative elements of the game. The Elder Scrolls series are so much more than swinging a sword and casting a spell (as fun as those things truly are).
Skyrim. Been waiting years for it.
I don't think Steam has saved PC gaming. I think a better description would be that Steam has re-invigorated PC gaming.
I enjoy steam and the great community behind it. Last night when I was on there were 4 million others gaming on Steam as well.
I can't help but feel that the cost of the excellent cinematic experience is freedom and control. I prefer control.
Yes, I'm ready for the inevitable thumbs down.
Unless you have played this currently unreleased title yourself, how would you know?
I'm calling Troll. Get back under the bridge you crawled out from.
I dont know if he means that showing its age is bad, but rather that the ways it does so are not as expected. Everyone expected it would play like the original Halo, but the same mid-level loads? Anyway, looks awesome.
