I think any man with a girlfriend that likes killing zombies and kicking alien butt should count himself lucky! If she can also mix a good drink and hold a job...marry her
I completely agree with you. Dice is a quality dev and, regardless of the issues with the Ps3 beta, they wont rest until things are better optimized.
Sad news :(
And here is why. The guy pretty much sums up the good and bad of it.

Did you actually read it or did you just comment. This quote is from the piece. I think the guy get's it is a beta:
"Now, before fans of the series and my fellow console gamers alike scream for my head on a platter, let me make clear that I understand that this is a beta and not necessarily representative of the final product. Feel me? I recognize that changes, improvements, updates, patches, etc… can and will likely come between ...
Then...how is this news? ;)
This just in: Cumulative Sense of humor rising!
OH my heavens how I can't wait to play Skyrim!
I finished Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion years ago, went and played through Morrowind, and have been thirsting for more ever since.
It depends on the genre for me. Books win in some, games in others.
I just hope more of the world out there will learn to recognize the art behind gaming.
I would LOVE to stream PC games to my new Toshiba Thrive tablet. I can't wait for this. :D
I recently bought the OnLive PlayPass and it is better than I thought it would be. Been enjoying Homefront, Borderlands, Arkham Asylum, and Just Cause 2 on there. Not bad for only $10 a month.
They are not all closed in the states. I live super-close to a blockbuster that is still very successful.
The company, however, is certainly having some woes though.
I think Dead Island looks awesome. I havent had the chance to try it myself, but i will when the holiday budget permits. Too many other great gmes coming out I want to try first.
Edge wouldnt know a quality game if a troll shoved it up their review team's respective buttholes.
Jokes aside, there is no maior source of game reviews out there that i disagree with more regularly. The different standards applied from one review to the next are so shockingly inconsistent i honestly wonder how they are taken so seriously.
This piece convinced me to check Dead island out. Unfortunately, said "check out" will have to wait until my budget catches up. Having recently purchased a tablet, Resistance 3, and with planned purchases of Rage, Sky rim, and a Vita, it might be a while. :/
One of these days I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and jump on the Minecraft bandwagon. It really does seem to awesome to miss out on.
The battery life was expected, if not welcome news. With a processor and screen like the Vita's only so much game/play time is possible.
The proprietary card choice isn't the best for consumers. For Sony it means more control and $$.
Still looking forward to getting myself a shiny new Vita in early 2012. :D
Now THAT is what I'm talking about :) can't wait to try that feature out myself!!
I solemnly pledge to go Commando on September 20th.
The Locust Queen will be shocked. Heck, I'm commando right now! :D
Ur a real class act :/
The author said in the comments on tthe website it wasn't the "N" word or any type of racial slur. In fact, it probably wasn't nearly as offensive as the message I'm writing this response to.
This PS3 owner just isn't a fan of 3D.
I LOVE my PS3 console, I'm just not interested in 3D in general on any format.
That little urge in all of us to push the limit is a great source of entertainment...and sometimes adrenaline.
Never thought of it in the way Peter Garza put it, but ya, I think he has an interesting point.
If a game is awesome, who cares what country it came from? Does something really need to be defined and separated that way? Perhaps there is value in discerning typical styles simply for consumer awareness - because there are notable common differences between Western and Japanese games - but I'm not sure.
