Looking at my funds, I'll have to wait until the Vita launches in my neck of the woods rather than import. Super excited for the PSV :D
I agree. If it is done well and compliments the single player - rather than take away from - i dont see a problem. BioWare Montreal is handling the MP, so the original Studio is still doing the single player we all know and love. That at least, is a good sign.
The only reason I hesitate is because of the cost of the darn things. Gaming is an expensive hobby without things like headphones. I just don't know if the advantage in multiplayer is worth that much $$.
Still...when I demoed some once it was pretty amazing. Much better than I anticipated.
Decisions.
The ability to stream wirelessly from an iPhone or iPad is awesome, but do I really want another device under my TV? I have so many things connected already that do similar things.
Additionally, my Toshiba Thrive Tablet has an HDMI out and hooks easily and directly to my big screen. No extra $99 for the Apple TV needed and it has access to countless movie services.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to Apple and the idea is good. It's just not...
I'm just impressed with how good a job Crytek did with this port. I own the PC version and have spent extensive time with the PS3. I was impressed with what they pulled off.
Crysis is fun on ANY Platform.
The Binding of Isaac looks pretty sweet. I love these rare-gem indies that slowburn their way to big success. Good for the teams that make them.
Never heard of this game but after this preview I'm really interested. Funny how so many games go under the radar and show up suddenly like a rare archeological find. I hope Project Zomboid takes off.

Did you read the piece though? One of the underlying points is how developers could make more money out of PC games without taking a chunk out of console game sales.
RockStar is interesting. they put out games that sell millions of copies, yet still have regular financial trouble. Makes a gamer wonder...

I agree as well. As the piece points out when talking about companies like Valve, Dice, Blizzard, etc...:

Re-releasing games is a double edged sword. It can bring something old but wonderful to new gamers...or it can appear as little more than a cash-grab if the HDification was poor or rushed.

Crytek did an incredible job.
so...This is some weird stuff. But it reminds me a lot of the "Imagination Land" trilogy from SouthPark. Now THAT would be a Minecraft creation to see!
The Beta has been pretty rough on PS3 and 360, but it's just a beta. I'm confident Dice will deliver in the end and that it will be a great game on all platforms.
Been hearing hints of this all over the web. Why would iD botch their game on the very platform that enabled them to be where they are today? This is very disappointing.

Im the kind of PC gamer that prizes control above all else. Rage still seems like a great title, but im sad that a certain amount of control has been wrested from me in the name of a certai benchmark.
