I have been playing FF13 on my 360 (since I don't have a PS3) and it is really good. The game is exactly the same apart from the visuals being slightly worse. They still look fantastic though, especially on chapter 11 where I am at (and anyone who has played up to there should know what I mean). They are definitely a bit shoddy at some parts, mainly a few earlier places and the cut-scenes look a bit blurry at times but overall they still look great and the rest of the game is EXACTLY the same...
Metro shouldn't be on the loser side. I have been playing the game and it is actually really good, deserves more respect. It isn't surprising though when it is the first game by a developer and hasn't been receiving too much hype, only fanboys bickering if any. The atmosphere of the game is great and the survival elements make it really immersive. Also the shooting elements aren't broken at all, gamers are just too used to their perfect and stiff aiming they find in games 'cough MW'.

All KZ3 needs is great visuals again, that's all KZ2 needed. Without them the game wouldn't have gotten anywhere near the same attention. (since everyone seems to be such visual whores these days)
Jeez can Square just work on one bloody game for a franchise at a time... They seem to be just making their hands way too full.
this is great to hear. BC2 makes MW2 look like total crap.
People seem to forget that there is more to games than visuals. Honestly as great as UC2 is I think Gears has better gameplay. UC is pretty straightforward for a TPS, it has a fantastic story and visuals which make it great. The story enough though is reason enough for me to call it great. Gears has great visuals though, both games looked stunning when they came out, but Gears has always has awesome gameplay though the story lacks. I also say I prefer Gears's online to UC2 though Gears 2 was ...
Note: Possible Spoilers (though early in game)
Heavy Rain was great, but there was some plot holes. For example after Ethan had black outs he had a origami in his hand and was on a certain street every time. There was no explained reason for it at all. They just used the black outs to progress the story without fully developing everything surrounding it.
This shows that people are wrong about it 'not selling' on the 360. No doubt it will sell more on the PS3 in total but people were making assumptions of the other JRPG's out there and forgetting that none of them have the same popularity and such as the FF series does. There will be plenty of people who own 360's and not PS3's who will want the game.
I honestly think that the episodic idea is quite a smart one. It actually lets people trial the game's start properly and gives the consumer the choice to keep purchasing it bit by bit. In a sense if they lose interest half way through or so they will end up saving some money. The only down side is that it must be downloaded which isn't good for 20gig owners such as myself (or even those who are in countries with bandwidth restrictions like myself...). I won't be surprised if this idea catche...
I think he made it sound pretty clear they have no plans to release it on the PS3. I think he just wants to make the point that it is their series and that Microsoft don't actually own it since there is silly debates about it. Gears 3 must be coming though, and I only expect it to be released on 360 and PC.
Despite the article being bait for fanboys, it is somewhat true in ways. All the BS about the 360 causing the game to be linear and what not is stupid. Personally from what I have seen, a lot of the blame should be on western game reviwers.
Why? Because they have been biasedly judging JRPG's this entire generation for not being Western RPG's. Pretty much they are bad because of elements that make them JRPG's, which is stupid because it is like saying something is bad for being th...
Glad to see someone actually mention that these motion controllers will come down to what developers do with them. Usually all you see is 'They will suck' or 'this one will be better than the other' or in move's sake 'it is pretty much a wii-mote'.
You see a ton of people bashing on natal saying how bad it will be but personally I think the tech will open up tons of possibilities. However it will come down to what developers actually do with it! No one seems to actually stop and ...
I thought they would have announced it ages ago. Kinda surprised. Still don't give a damn about the franchise though, Rock Band all the way :)
sounds like the VIP will be a let down :/ Was hoping for it to be somewhat as good as ME2's. Forza's VIP is a mix of good and bad since they have given a decent amount of free cars with awesome liveries but all the packs still cost money. Seems like BC2 will be worse than that.
I hope I don't lose my unlocks.... I really hope I don't :( All that time just to re-earn them. Losing my stats isn't a huge deal though.
Just got home and I can't connect :/ what sucks is I have people on my friends list playing but I am not able to :(
Thing is I highly doubt most people are even giving the games a chance before judging them. People are too busy only thinking about Rare's past rather than what they are doing now. It is exactly why they seem to be only getting success of re-releasing games on the XBLA.
It is great to see some other people who agree with me, everyone just seems to jump on the Rare hate-wagon for no good reason. I actually don't believe anyone who says they suck now has played ANY of their games in the past few years. I didn't play Kameo so I can't comment on that, Viva pinata and N&B however I have. Viva Pinata may be childish but the games are very solid and are a lot of fun. N&B has to be one of the most unique and fun games I have played in the past few years. It ...
To give a proper response to this article, I won't be surprised if he is right about this. I think that natal's main things could easily consist of interface related material, etc. It is likely possible.
Also to give my own thoughts about Natal, I think that Natal can end up being really good. However I think it will come down to how developers use the tech and what kind of ideas they come up with. just think about it, the best games come from the best developers. I think there w...
This is sad to hear, Major Nelson doesen't deserve that :/
