Firstly, we all know that shooters are hugely popular on the 360 but everyone still overlooks how popular a lot of RPG's are on the system. Even Forza is pretty damn popular.
Secondly, Halo is the Xbox's system seller and as a system seller is has been doing it's job better than any PS3 game (and don't try to deny that PS3 fanboys) But other shooter games are huge on the system too, eg. Gears and COD. and even if COD is multi-platform a ton of people overlook ...
whether you like it or not it is going to be between Reach, Black Ops, and Starcraft 2. In any case I don't see why people would bother to argue. It is Halo, and it is going to have a huge launch and huge sales, while being exclusive. (And don't say sales don't matter, in this case they do. Simple logic really, more sales = more people wanting to buy it).

I liked the first, but I would agree that the second was better. I rented it because I wasn't that sure about it and ended up loving it. Thinking about buying 3 when it comes out.
it sure does look fake. Though even if it is, I wouldn't be surprise if DOA5 came out as a multi-platform game. DOA has never been an exclusive series, DOA4 was exclusive but that doesen't mean the whole game series is.
Seems like a lot of the fans don't care anymore since Itagaki won't be working on it. Not sure really if I care much or not, I always liked the games but never loved them or anything.

Another flamebait title in a sense. I am sure this is the case with developers on a lot of games, stories do get boring after you have seen them / read them tons of times. Or at least most do.
It is easily one of my favourite games this year though and majority of the people here trying to bash it obviously haven't played it. It quite possibly has the best narrative I am seen in a game in years.
I have been waiting too long for it, I really hope they announce it.

My only guess why someone would have redeemed it already by mistake would be that they got confused about it being the 27th in the US. (It is already the 27th here in NZ and is late afternoon as well). Otherwise they are just stupid.

Jeez these lists are just copy / paste I swear. The are pretty much just games fanboys hyped up too much for their own good and were judged worse than they should have been. All the games I would put on a list like this are ones that are too popular for their own good.
@gago, you are not alone my friend. Actually I personally think it even looks boring. Sure technically it is impressive but the art design, etc is just so... dull and boring to look at. Sure I will get spammed with disagrees for having my own opinion.
Graphics have definitely taken over from what I have seen. I will still play a game for the gameplay, story, etc but a lot just seem to judge hugely on whether it looks good or not.
Kinda makes me miss last gen since the PS2 was weaker than the xbox but it was still more popular because people enjoyed the games on it more (and well maybe since it was cheaper too :p but people did seem to judge games on everything but the visuals before this generation)
uh no it is called leaving the ending open for dlc and a possible sequel. It also concluded one of the main plot points while doing so. The narrative was absolutely fantastic though but I can also get why someone could get confused by it. There is quite a lot to take in.
They are getting larger in size too and I would guess the developers are spending more time on them too. They are still cheaper than retail games, and when I can pay 1200 points and play a game like Deathspank for about the same length as quite a lot of retail games I feel like I am getting a good deal.
Also, not all games are 1200 now. Monkey Island special edition 2 was 800 points.

JRPG's don't need fixing. Everyone just says that lack innovation when most other genre's are worse 'cough' fps games. And seeing that most people like more of the same in games I never get the criticisms. FF13 is an example of a company trying to make a JRPG more appealing to Western audiences who were complaining about JRPG's and look how it turned out.

jeez it has already gone quite down on price here in NZ. It is a brilliant game though, my 2nd favourite so far this year in fact. You should definitely pick it up at some point.
On the article topic, I saw the achievements like over a week ago. My friend was playing it and I noticed they had updated the achievements list. Can't wait for the dlc though, only a few days now.
hell yes! Looks awesome. Now I see why they set up that story idea :P Will probably cost, but I don't regret buying Kasumi and Overlord so will happily buy it.
You forgot to mention that it is the main system seller for the Xbox. Why would MS not use it as its main title -_-
