I don't need physical proof to know that the auction house was the center of the design of Diablo 3 vanilla, and it destroyed the game, as much as I don't need it to know that selling DLC is the main concept of Destiny and that Bungie would never ever have made such a repetitive and limited game if this was not the case. And it destroyed the game.

I have known this since much before the empty zones were shown. TBH, these zones prove nothing. I'm not talk...

You're acting like it is additional content being sold, but it is not true.

The most common practice is to rip the game and later sell its pieces. If there was no DLC, vanilla packages would be bigger.

The little problem is... RE is not survival horror.

Without many spoilers, which events do the game and the DLC cover? Like which year to which year?
I'm reading now about some dead kings and princes on the revolution and it made me want to play the game... Despite the gameplay. =|

Gameplay wise is one of my favorites.

On a side note: it is 7 days from now or from when you activate it? I won't have much spare time this week...

Me too, but since we won't get new AAA games as often as before...

Don't be so defensive.

It might be an issue with the writer, not so widespread. I, for instance, played A TON of MP games since day one and, seriously, if the guy didn't bring this to attention, I probably would never have thought about it.

The auto turning on, though... I can't even count how many times I had to wake up to remove the power cord of my self conscious PS4...

I'd add to the list of issues:

I agree with the timing, but if ad revenue is the money source, they HAVE to write what their readers want to read.

Example: IGN pissed me so much with (mainly Colin Moriarty's) ultra pro-companies positions that I simply don't even think about looking that site. Actually, he is the one that made me look for another source of info, bringing me here to N4G.

Another one: Gamespot started to troll reviews and piss a lot of fans. Also make to make too muc...

I'm very interested on it. Probably wait until a price drop, but will probably get it.
I enjoyed every DMC I have played, but the last one had that washed Unreal face and below average frame rate. Glad I skipped the reboot and have one "brand new" game now. :D

There will never be a big site completely free.

As much as the big outlets can't discuss with their supporters (publishers), this one won't be able as well. They WILL have to please their supporters for donations as much as printed magazines back then for the magazine price, otherwise they'll just close for lack of profit or too much debt.

The lead is for Metacritic and Gamerankings as scores aggregators.

N4G doesn't even compete on this, it is usually just random clickbait.

Doug, I have played dozens of hours of the original when I was a kid (MSX FTW!). I have landed successfully less than three times. To be honest, I only remember one. haha

This is a design decision of the original game and the dev just kept it there. Actually, it is one BIG mechanic of it...

Suppose you have an annual income of 1 million USD from given company towards your site. Would you prefer to give an honest, critic review score, OR to keep your (and your family's) good life and your business safe, giving one or two points more on the score?

Yeah, I'd probably do the same you and mostly everyone here would: Giving up 1 million from anyone else is always muuuch easier.

We are all saints!

"I wouldn't consider that Kotaku blog a big game site by any stretch of the imagination (and they've had a pretty dodgy past if you ask me) so yeah...I'd say that their bloggers aren't of much consequence, wouldn't you?"

It may be a POS site, but it one of the most relevant, sadly.

This pretty much proves you're just plain clueless.

Being left aside so many years made them this bitter. Don't worry. Eventually they'll change the diaper and it will stop hurting. That is until they are inevitably forgotten again, then the cycle restarts.

Console is and will keep being where the money and focus are. :)

I agree with you that GG's problem begins right on the "movement's" start. Also, the simple fact that it was called this ridiculous name already guaranteed that nothing good would come from it.

About "truth in advertisement", the industry is mostly based on mainstream conventional media and internet toilets, I mean, outlets. These last ones do almost NOTHING except -> friendly advertisement <-. It won't change. At all. Even 1%.
