The problems is not that it happens. It is that it happens all the time. The "exclusives" are X1 and PC almost always, so it dims the reasons for owning a X1.
I'll sell mine and use the money on a PC, where I'll be able to run almost every big game on the X1 and also work. As said, having a console loses a big selling point if there are little to no exclusives.
A prime example on how revealing your game too soon or lying about a release window (if done wrong, because many big games succeed on this strategy to create hype), can seriously hurt your game.
Almost no one cares about Hellraid anymore. It was on my top wanted list about three years ago.
Now meh.

It's a shame that such a fun and polished core was surrounded by one of the most repetitive missions from last year. I really liked but couldn't stand doing the same things so many times over and over again.
They bit much more than they could chew with JC3 and MM coming up at the same time.

Why?
Because everytime ingame currency is sold through microtransactions, the ingame prices are inflated. Come on, it is not that hard to understand.
They wouldn't ever put something to sell that was disconnected with the experience. The only way to sell something is if there's a need for it.

I respect your opinion, but strongly disagree about it.
Auto aiming quick scopes - VERY ineffective. Quickscopers played for fun and usually were the weak link on the team.
Low kill streaks dominating you constantly from above - perk coldblooded (yes, only one perk until then) easily made killstreaks ineffective. And if they have low ks, you can also have it.
OMA - yeah, seriously overpowered with grenade launchers. Then again, these guys wer...

Both are examples of terrible ridiculous choices from jenious designers that severely hurt the final game.
Yeah, the game screamed DLC and microtransactions from the beginning. It comes from the very core of its design.
