I have absolute faith in Infinity Ward 2.0, so I'll wait and see. If they are slowing it down, they probably have the design well made around this choice.
But, TBH, I also would like the game fast as it was. A good fast, not a bad random fast like CoD.
"So you admit it is business and nothing else."
This phrase alone shows you know nothing, absolutely nothing about the gaming INDUSTRY.
Do you think companies are there to make you happy?
What else would it be if not business?
Not gonna lie. I kept hoping it wasn't COD.
I wonder why it happened on this date...
WTF? Aesthetics, theme, general concept are some of the few you can actually get from short trailers...
So, saywat, should 30 second trailers just be ignored then? It has its informative value, it shows a lot of the direction the game is going, or at least should, since it is its "first trailer".
Also none is saying the GAME is terrible. The general reaction is "what a f******* terrible TRAILER was this?". And yes, it has an impact on how interested people are on the game. Otherwise they wouldn't exist.
Take Battlefield's trailer...
Thanks. Decent size. If the frame rate is good, I'll probably play it all again. Love these games.
The challenge of a ghost no kill run was one of the best experiences I had. Even better when I decided to stop saving the game each imperfect move. Only halfway through the game I realized that I barely used any HP potion...
It is incredible how many particles they can put into the game and how well their neon aesthetics work.
Perfect visuals I say. The style of the game alone makes you want to keep playing.
Bought on release and didn't regret it even one second.
To me, it doesn't need any of this, just hack free lobbies.
@DARKKENT
Well, that's what the gaming community get by giving a company endless praise, saving it from every plausible criticism, swearing love and defending like a true zealot on every possible aspect ever possible.
Too bad that Sony can't handle the success, but we, collectively, deserve this kind of treatment.
Well... Every single comment and click here is making sure their clickbaity job is successful.
What would these sites be without our neverending support?
Congrats to us all.
You can argue about design, business choices etc, but to doubt about Infinity Ward and Treyarch's technical skills is beyond ridiculous.
About that dead console you mentioned, not even Nintendo wanted to waste money on it. Why would Activision?
I say it got the attention it deserved.
Now, on topic, I couldn't care less about a new COD. But this MW rumor is pure evil...
This looks like a Corvo Attano nightmare.
Such a huge leap in the franchise!
Well, I obviously haven't played the game yet, but this one is the lesser score it has received so far, so I'd take it with a huge grain of alien salt.
About it being repetitive, think about Diablo and Borderlands... "Alienation‘s main appeal is the loot grind". It can be good or bad, and people might even disagree if it is one or the other. It seems that this reviewer didn't enjoy the game at all, while other had similar experiences and loved it.
I haven't seen mentions about it being short. TBH, even if it is short, it looks designed towards some grinds, so I'm okay while it is varied and fun.
You can only once call your game the "CoD killer"...
Amazing. Certain buy!
Kind of agreed, but he would have missed the casual masterpiece that MW2 was.
