It’s a great experience, lots of interesting people to know. Well, at least here, always with 100+ devs on the site.
Plus: You end the weekend with a game :)
Anyone else in?
If true, that means oceans of microtransactions.
Don’t be so naive.
For details, here are the patch notes:
https://support.rockstargam...
"Red Dead Online Beta General / Miscellaneous – PS4, Xbox One
General improvements to fix game stability, save data and to address exploits."
Housemarque Games. The old one. Not the new battle royale spitter.
TF2 has no community. For a MP game, that’s a killer.
Illidan Stormrage. Deep, meaningful story arc.
Roguelikes! They should have always more impact on choices.
You would still be playing a game designed to milk microtransactions, not a game designed to be balanced or fun progression-wise.
They mess with the game design and you get a f***** up progression design just because of its mere existence.
If you didn't understand it yet, take a look at Red Dead Online. Or GTA Online. Or Shadow of War economy. Or SWBF2. Or basically any AAA game with F2P schemes or loot boxes.
Design 101, buddy. Nothing is there by mere chance.
AAA games with F2P schemes, whatever they are.
Bad performance. I’m infinitely happy with the 30 FPS games generally keep this gen.
Last gen was terrible at this.
Storytelling for grown ups. Definitely.
BF1. Pure lag. :D
Duke Nukem. Earthshaking for the time.
Epic Pinball, back in the pre Pentium days. Neverending competition with my brother.
Soon after, Winning Eleven was a major turning point as well.
Also, as Jim Sterling correctly called, Bethesda, with this fake apology, is trying to put people into the microtransactions currency routine and actually make even more money out of the controversy.
One of the biggest challenge for microtransactions is to convert non payers to payers. Giving a little bit of currency is a well known, tried and true tactic aiming for it.
BTW, 500 fake coins can buy a door and some flowers on the game. :D
^ This is the correct and definitive answer. "Of course."
Expect something even worse in the progression aspect: They surely got better in it.
Picture the scene: you have a free day, you decide to play the game. Bethesda decides it is Patch Day again.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can you buy non cosmetic items through microtransactions or is this just an ignorant comment?
