@XBL
While the PS4 lacks some features for organization, it is VERY fast and... Seriously? No UI can be worse than X1's ultra slow ultra varied interface. EVERY function there demands seconds of loading delays and has a different visual identity.
The pics show it. Horizontal list with thumbnails, exactly how it is shown now, but filtering only for the favorited.
Sure! After all it is Ubisoft! No way they could have downgraded graphics after its heavy marketing demos...
No way at all!
Like the uber AI on Titanfall?
I can't believe the cloud underpowah became so obvious to the point where even you mock yourself and the lesser machine...
That's similar to my position on this.
Anyday I'd trade resolution for deeper games with more gameplay elements, better AI, connectivity etc.
IF it isn't on 1080p, I think there could be some great use for the extra resources on 720p.
Gameplay over graphics always, specially when it's 720p x 1080p.
The companies making Lords of the Fallen only made absurdly terrible games already. This doesnt mean it will be bad, but anyone thinking about preordering it should really consider their history...
To be fair, the dumbness is due to something much more problematic: PS3 and X360...
XBox One possible parity would only affect graphics.
... which is...
If the versions were exactly equal, it would mean that the PS4 version had been dumbed down to the level of a less powerful machine. Don't be offended, XBox fans. It's not all about power.
Glad they said they're *trying* to deliver the same across consoles. We know what it means. PS4 here.
Also they'll make hardcore fans buy two games this year.
In case anyone else is wondering... 2.92 now.
Well played!
Divinity Original Sin: Devs said a console version with split screen coop would be nice. Surely not coming soon, but if it happens, I'd buy it.
For now, as I don't buy PC games, I'll just play a little (maybe) for now and hope for a buyable version someday...
^ so much ignorance.
Two completely different games.
On topic, I have a XB1 and Ryse... PS4 gamers are not missing much.
You might now buy them, but, since the meeting when they decide to do microtransactions for a game, its design needs to be adequated for it.
And that's how they affect everybody.
But who am I to say. I'm a Clash of Clans long term player...
"when you play a trial through EA Access, you're playing the real game for a limited time, five days before the release date"
FFS. They pretty much confirmed that they are simply pushing the public release dates to one week later and charging consumers to play the game in the otherwise actual and only release date.
If you disagree, please answer how do you think they'd be able to let someone play the FULL GAME one week "earlier".
Only a few of the great games I've played:
Don't Starve
Resogun
Tomb Raider
inFAMOUS
BF4
Strider
Watch Dogs (kind of...)
Outlast
Trine 2
I know they can be played on another platform as well, but this is not the point here. The point is what CAN be played on PS4.
2014 sucks? Yes, deeply. The year of the remake and the delay, but that doesn't mean nothing good to play.
Sheriff?
More like the crazy guy on the corner...
This month sucked 100%, but all others had good games.
Don't Starve, Resogun, Strider, Contrast and Outlastalready are much worth 50 USD.
Mercenary Kings, Doki Doki and Stick it to the Man are very nice games too, if you consider the package value.
Finally... Trine 2. The game is pure magic.
Would I like TLOU, Diablo and Shadows of Mordor on PS+? Sure, but let's be realist here...
Even Flower and those Pixeljunk junk game were rereleased...
Expect much more to come. MUCH more.
1. Delays.
2. Remasters.
3. Annual franchises.
