I resent being enticed to rebuy games I already own, especially after PS3 threw away their backward compatibility option and MS abandoned further work on their own.
BUT, if people will buy HD remakes, and they keep people working in development, publishing, and retail, and they easily boost revenue at low costs, then it's pretty hard to argue against them. I guess they'd be pretty valuable to budget gamers.

Bear in mind that Bullet Storm's co-op mode is based on hitting high scores ad the competition is about higher scores and not 'kill each other' death-match or missions.

Given how many of the non-slim PS3's have YLOD's about three years in...nope. It clearly wasn't READY when it launched WITHOUT RUMBLE for $500-$600 in a market where Blu-ray was just emerging as a movie format, and developers had trouble doing decent games with the Cell processor.
