How is Titanfall being marketed like Halo? I don't see any live action boot camp trainee or old veterans in a future war museum commercials. I don't see anything like the original Noble 6 taking a nuke from a wounded Kat and heroically dying completing the mission. I don't see a big TV add blitz.

There's a lot of used copies of Shadowfall at gamestop. There aren't that many people playing it online. The price has dropped to $40 in a lot of places. Reviews were middling to bad. It made a nice tech demo when the library was weak as console launches tend to be. It's also a good reason to be grateful for Sony sticking to their normal used game sales policy instead of trying to help push us into Microsoft's all digital new era.
Destiny is coming in September so if Halo hits in November there'd be no problem. A COD comes out every year so you'ne not go up against CoD.
Shadowfall was lousy.
Mine will be on PC where possible. Sadly Destiny I must get on PS4.
Nor does Destiny use the same engine as Halo Reach.
Halo 5 could probably make me buy an xbone. I might wait a little while though.

Section 8, not starhawk. Starhawk is a third person game. Section 8 even has the jump jets and the mechs that you can call down. (Of course it also has the turrets and dispensor healer building gameplay. And tanks.)
Not that Starhawk and Warhawk aren't good.
It's not like Dead Rising 3 was crap. It was pretty fun. So was Killer Instinct. Forza was decent (if you like the sim racer genre ->I don't -> and you can get over the predatory microtransactions and reduced feature set from the last gen Forza).
And games frankly don't get much worse or more disappointing than lame misguided tedious garbage like Killzone: Shadow Fall(what a padded, irritating, overscripted set-piece mess) and Knack.
