I think Brink, Rage, and Frostbite 2 all have a shot at making a better looking game than Crysis 2 in various aspects but they will still be comparable. We get to see one of them as soon as May.

Just use the normal controller and Kinect for head tracking, biometrics, mood reading, thermal whatever blah blah and some gesture based QTE's. Use augmented reality controls on the screen with your controller. Use stuff like mats and cards placed with a tape measure to measure space.
Or add some cheap plastic or plush (or whatever) props to use WITH the Kinnect and bundle them with Kinnect games as a goodie.

The format update might make the required security section of the DVD format smaller leaving marginally more room for content like say ~500 MB or something.
Or it might be seeing a new compression/streaming scheme. We'll just have to wait and see and hope that whatever it is, that it works and doesn't cause any headaches.

They've pretty much established that Earth is armed to the teeth and way ahead of the colony worlds technologically. The Earth fleet burned the Heghan fleet out of Vekta's orbit VERY quickly in Killzone: Liberation once they arrived. There's a pretty good chance that Stahl's fleet wouldn't have made it anywhere near Earth even if it it did launch successfully. The surprise attack/bombing run Stahl planned was probably a very stupid idea.
