Wow 360 version is much better. Not a LAST Minute conversion like last time. Now that they're actually taking the same amount of time on both versions it shows. Taking advantage of 360 vastly sup3rior GPU and unified architecture and not having to come up with some off the wall convoluted way to try and pull this stuff off like they're forced to do on the piece of sh1t ps3 with it's prehistoric system architecture and cave man like GPU.
Well I don't think that Epic would release Gears on PS3 because they want it to have good frame rates, no torn frames, great SSOA, great shadows, good anti aliasing, high rez textures, NO MANDATORY install required, consistent online play, and have lots of enimies on the screen all at once. Wow this is an AMAZING game. definately the MOST realistic graphics of ANY racer on the market period. It didn't that 6 years and $65 million dollars to develop either. Good time to play XBOX.
It looks pretty good, for a multiconsole release running on PS3 that is. It did have lots of torn frames, dumbed down particle effects, not many enemies on screen, that ugly RSX shadowing, lots of dropped frames, and the lighting was dumbed down some. Yeah this must be PC or 360. No way PS3 could pull that off with just 250mb Video RAM and the paultry RSX.

Now as for Far Cry...It'll look great on PS3. It'll require a 5 gig install, and won't perform nearly as well as the 360 rendition. As long as you don't play this side by side with the 360 version you'll think it looks and performs great on PS3.

The hackers are brilliant, that's true. However, Sony in their arrogance chose not to correct vunerablilities in their security. I mean, you can't use things like "plain text" for user information and transactions!!! Even an 8th grade programmer would know better!! Let put the blame where it should be, SONY.

2K should fire the development team and the programmers first then worry about the PR. The game is bad PR all on it's own.
Why would I be shocked? This gen xbox is more powerful than ps3 so why would the next gen be any different? PS3 with it's horrible fillrate, horrible frame rates, horrible shadows, horrible implemetaions of SSAO, and horrid alpha blending limitations. Then come the "Exclusives". Exclusives are written to "HIDE" all these deficientcies that become apparrent when a game releases on both 360 and PS3. In that case 95% not 100% but 95% of the time the power of the 360 shows...

Oh and it wasn't in development for 6 years either. Easlily and vastly SUPERIOR to gt5..hands down. Makes GT5 look like a comic book by comparison.
