Let's analyze shall we? ps3 #1 for 7 days but #3 installed base for 5 years. hmmmmmm Yep I can see why they're excited.
It's the classic sony defense. but lets forget that ps fans aren't worried about sales, right? Well that is until an article like this shows up. Entire thing based on surveys...do the moderators even read these articles before they approve them? Classic programming..garbage in equals garbage out. I'm only interested in the facts. The way it is now 360 has a much larger world wide installed base and would be even larger if Japan wasn't so opposed to buying imports in general.
Well Trenta MW2 was only terrible on ps3 and even then wasn't that bad despite what the whiners said. On 360 mw2 was awesome and still is!!! The new DLC is awesome too!! But then if you have a ps3 you'll have to...wait...for it.
Gears of War 3 is at the top of my list and millions of other people's lists. Followed by MW3 (Activision rocks), then RAGE, Batman Archkam2, BF3, Skyrim, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary. Wow what a time to be a gamer. It's Awesome.
I sense a little 360 envy. Too bad the smack talk isn't backed up with actual preorder numbers. That crown belongs to 360. Your troll smack talk won't change the fact that pre-order numbers still don't favor UC3.

I have to agree with TheMART. PS3 version is usually weak compared with the 360. This is usually the case. Not bashing at all. Just stating the facts. Therefore when Dice says that they'll be exactly the same then I have to say, "I'll believe it when I see it." I just hope they don't cut out effects from the 360 version because of PS3 RAM problems or Bandwidth problems just to make the EXACTLY the same. I really can't agree with Microsoft on this one. I have to say that Sony has some great first party developers that get awesome support from Sony to wring out the most from ps3 and it shows. Microsoft may have great tools for sdk but I just don't see them supporting their first party devs the way Sony does. If they did then things may be different. But they don't.
ps3 didn't support trophies until the achievements gimmick with xbox really caught on. Until then ps3 hadn't mimmicked this xbox feature for ps3. Why would the developers want to dump money into a finished product released before ps3 had achievement mimicking trophies that won't net them any additional return????? It boils down to money.
Xbox already has the larger install base than ps3, so why be more like ps3? This is the kind of crap that get approved on this site all the time. Every month total sales, not by regions but TOTAL sales have the 360 selling more than ps3. 360 has already won this gen and has led the ps3 for most of it's life cycle. I agree with you on the graphics part Chidor. The ONLY thing and I do mean ONLY thing that makes this game uniques to ps3 is that sixaxis controller that no one seems to remember or use. Other than the controller there's NOTHING about this game couldn't be done on 360.

I agree with you 100% Fishy Fingers. It'd be ridiculous to gimp this game to offer an option that only about 5% or less of consumers even have access too. This game is going to rock WITHOUT the gimmicky 3d.

Wow, this thing will sell like hot cakes. I've seen the star wars kinect game and it's awesome. Makes you feel like you're really a jedi wielding the force, light sabers, it's awesome! MUST BUY. Microsoft has yet another hit on its hands here.

You're absolutely right Gus. The industry over developers have expressed their dislike for the ps3. Even John Carmack prefers 360 to ps3 for development.
What is this Executive going to say? That the ps3 is very difficult to develop for, it costs much more to get a game up and running on ps3, and that it takes much longer to get a game up and running on ps3 compared to 360? I don't think so.
