This article is crap! We all know that ANY ps3 exclusive is the best game ever created since the beginning of the universe!! Right? I mean right? LOL
Wow Dice and Crytek are showing the industry how to develop games. It helps that they're not confined to the PS3 limited architecture and have the advanced resources of pc and 360 at their disposal. I think we're really starting to see developers not holding back on 360 just to compensate for PS3's lack of ram and lackluster GPU. Perfect example is Crysis 2, Red Dead Redemption, Mafia 2, Black Ops, and the list goes on and on. It's an exciting time to be a gamer.

Xbox 360 just keeps getting better and better. Best online, best games, best multi console releases, first for DLC, vastly superior hardware, largest games library, kinect, best frame rates, superior graphics, better and better. wow.

This should be a fun game but it, no ANY other game, can touch the beauty of Crysis 2, well at least on 360 and pc anyway.
I think the instruction manual required a "mandatory" 10 gig install and a "mandatory" firmware update before you could read it.
This looks about right for ps3. Flat shadows, missing elements, awful framerate, legacy lighting, Poor models. Low Res.
About on par with average ps3 games.

Well there are a few reasons ps3 won't overtake 360. The first being price. If you can get a next gaming machine for roughly $100.00 less than a PS3 then you will, especially if you're a parent. Next there's the online aspect. Xbox live offers the most robust (stated by industry leaders over and over) online experience in the console space. I didn't want xbox Crysis 2 held back by PS3 but you don't always get what you want.
This game would've looked much better if Crytek hadn't of had to dumb it down to fit in a certain console's tiny 256 meg of video RAM. Yeah, yeah it's got 512 meg TOTAL but only 256 for video. If they'd been solely developing for PC and a certain console that has an advanced UNIFIED RAM architecture it'd been much better. Wow. This thing is really getting out of control. It's pretty simple really. If he broke the law then there grounds for Sony's actions. If not then Sony should back off. If hackers are attacking Sony's sites and distributing personal information about their employess that's against the law and they should be stopped. The law is the law period.

The console war is kinda irrelivant any way. The best games this gen are multiplat any how. No matter which version is superior.
Man this game crushes ANYthing available on ANY console to date. Go Crytek. Great lighting, great shadows, great use of transparancies, great frame rate, great anti aliasing, incredible draw distances, and REAL open environments. Not corridor shooter like some. You've set a new high benchmark Crytek. Way to go!!
The Wii has dominated this gen. There's no reason to believe that Wii 2 won't do the same.
