The force unleashed and the 2nd are abominations compared to the older games. Hell id say the snes star wars games were better. I agree with rogue squadron. Like wth happened to the next gen RS we were supposed to get?
I wouldnt pay 5$ a year. Its such a cash grab without any real reason to purchase other than to play games online. They should have made it free this entire gen like sony did with the ps3.
I totally agree, this is a service that should have been there day 1... and now more than a year later all we are getting is nes games is crazy. Id much rather have virtual console on the go than this.
Agreed, but japan will usually support japanese made products so thats a no brainer plus they LOVE their handhelds. I think the us and europe areas are so used to the playstations strong 1st partys, better versions of third partys, superior ps+, and all of that for the same price as the switch. Nintendos staple 1st partys will only get them so far when you have other console makers releasing new blockbuster ip on a yearly basis.

Im pretty confident the next Spider-Man will be PS5 exclusive... They are probably already in the early stages of developement. Didnt they say it took 4-5 years dev cycle? So at the earliest fall 2022. Unless they can pump it out in 3 years, which is possible with newer, easier to dev for hardware, and a bigger staff at Insomniac.
Its a lot easier to play a game you can download 1st. Look how amazing steam works. Streaming wont be the future antime soon but downloading and playing will.
While i agree with what you said about ps now, if there really is an update to download the game first and have no imput lag and possibly run in higher res and fps im totally down with that. Just depends how long it takes to download... i have pretty fast internet so even if it downloaded over night id be totally fine with that verses the state of crap ps now is in streaming the game...
Whether i (we) like it or not, streaming/downloading games will be the future. As digital sales rise and physical sales decrease, it would no longer be feasable for devs to spend money on carts/cases/and cd. Effectively cutting out the middle man gamestop all together. Hell, i bet in less than 10 years you wont even need a console. Maybe like a usb or like a small cable type box. Im not saying physical is going away anytime soon, we just never know what the future holds.
The issue i have is Nintendo dont make new i.p. more often like they used to. Most those games are remasters and titles that are getting stale.
