Which Halo tho? Halo 5 single player was very underwhelming.
Good-Great games will always have their time in the spotlight. Just be happy we have so many to choose from. Hype is for console war bs. Both games will be recieved and sell well. It just so happens Spider-Man on 1 platform will sell better than TR on multiple platforms and has higher review scores... shocking i know
Honestly, it could have been a time restraint. Id rather a game release on time and have a developer spend more time on polish to make the best product upon release. If i get an amazing polished game on the day the devs set in advance... im ok waiting for a ng+ afterwards. In a perfect world ng+ would also be there day 1 but thats not the world we live in.
I still dont understand how this company isnt a Sony 1st party studio. Maybe they dont want to be bought? It makes all the sense in the world and especially after this monumental exclusive hit Sony needed going into the holiday season.

This... after seeing what ms have done with countless chances to make a decent game (let alone great game) i wouldnt trust them with any big AAA superhero game. But again, they have done this to themselves fractioning their market to specific types of games. Look at insomniac last game exclusive to xbox that was a really good game (sunset overdrive) and noone bought it. It takes 3 major things..
1. Popular WW console maker
2. Amazing developer
3. Right fan...

Exactly, MS is going to be left behind is an understatement. Only having Forza (which releases on a yearly basis) as an exclusive for the holidays is going to hurt them so bad while Sony has spiderman and Nintendo has smash bros, pokemon, and mario party. I wouldnt be suprised if nintendo wins this holiday with sony a close 2nd and ms in a far 3rd place. However, ms could suprise us all and knock 100$ of the xb1x. Im thinking the exact opposite. Im hoping ms are taking a page out of nintendos playbook and pushing a lot of xb1 exclusives to next gen. Its an understatement to say... ms needs an amazing launch and an even better 1st two years to even compete.

Completely agree, i think at the very least insomniac will be back to making exclusive Sony games for the forseeable future. Id love to see them do other exclusive superhero games as well. With how successful this i.p. is looking it might even be smart to exand to having more teams then currently to continue spiderman games and work on another project at the same time. A lot of xbox fans seem to think the next spiderman will be multiplatform and im like i highly doubt it.
