I would LOVE to see what youre saying about xbox happen at the beggining of next gen. Even if they release a year after Sony. They honestly just need to keep what they are doing by keeping revenue comming into the xbox. While i dont agree with most the shit they are doing now, i cant deny from a business standpoint how smart these actions were. Thats just it... ms should have never made the mistakes they made this gen in the 1st place. Most people have no kind of faith in them after the rrod and then the entire xb1 gen. The odds of them shaping up next gen and knocking it out of the park for 6-8 straight years is slim to none... is it possible? Sure... is it likely? Hell no
Sony would need to have another ps3 gen to even give the scarlett the upper hand. And thats not going to happen. Sony unlike ms, learned from their mistakes... xbox learned nothing from the 360 gen and completely facepalmed this gen. The xb1 was the for sure bet going into 2013... even i was like wow ms will prob have the more powerful bad ass console and give sony a real run for their $$... and then the xb1 happened.

I actually wanted them to have a completely revamped nintendo online for a supposed 9th gen console. and what we got was a huge let down. I guess theres always next gen... in 2018 forward... an online has to at the very least match what others are doing and if not... it better be free... and its not and its not
